Closely connection to herbage production in southern of XInjiang, paper conduct tests of the shear properties and cutting parameters of the main kinds alfalfa stem under different levels of moisture content and different wood fiber content and different parts of stem and the multi-factor influence to meet with the need of production process on alfalfa harvest, silage. To discuss trends of shear force and shear energy and the effect of shear properties as well as the moisture content and load speed coupling the analysis of variance and the response surface analysis has carried on by using statistics and grey correlation theory to provides an important theoretical basis and technical support on the timely harvest and silage, reasonable and efficient processing machinery and equipment, such as the development and the selection of key parametersAccordance with the requirements cutting process of alfalfa hay experiment of shear properties of the level of bottom and central of alfalfa stem was carried out under the loading speed (rate)10mm/min and the moisture content of6.03%by designed shear test bench the model of the relationship between shear stress and alfalfa stem thickness is established through the analysis of variance and regression analysis by using the principle of the statistics.Differences of the thick of mechanical tissue layer and thickness to diameter ratio and wood fiber content between central and bottom of alfalfa stem is comparative and analyzed. The results showed that shear force at the bottom of the stem is2.04times to that of middle in2-3mm group and2.19times in3-4mm group, the shear force at the bottom in3-4mm group is1.42times to that of2-3mm and1.44times of central.Aiming at the effects of wood fiber content on the shear force, the relationship between wood fiber content and the shear force and set up relation model of wooden fiber content to shear force, shear energy at the bottom and central part of alfalfa hay is studied and the relevance of shear parameters as shear force to wood fiber content is calculated using the grey correlation theory and in turn is hemicellulose, and lignin, cellulose from big to small. The research results showed that with hemicellulose and lignin and cellulose content increased by one percent, the shear energy were increased by0.0453,0.0453and0.0453J respectively at the level of bottom and increase0.0482,0.0415, and0.0064J respectively to central. For mowing, pulverizing and hay and other job cut in, study onchange trend of shear force and shear energy under the moisture content of64.00%,15.00%and6.03%respectively and divided into two groups of experimental by stem diameter of2-3mm and3-4mm. The research results showed that the shear force at the level of bottom at the moisture content15%,64%is1.34times,1.66times, respectively to central at the moisture content of6.03%of2-3mm stalks and1.21times,1.08times of central. Otherwise,1.01times and1.31times at the level of bottom and1.23times and1.26times at central respectively of3-4mm stems. In order to obtain the shear force and shear energy under various working condition, experimental is carried out on the coupling relationship between the shear force and shear energy and different level of moisture content and different parts of stem by using the Box-Behnken factorial design and the Response Surface Method, established the corresponding relationship model between the shear force and shear energy of different moisture content and different parts to provides the technical basis.
