Gray leaf spot (GLS) results in significant grain yield losses in the corn planting regions of China, genetic dissection of resistance to which is an important research in maize breeding, In this study, using a genome-wide association with41,101SNPs among161maize inbred lines,51SNPs were identified to significantly associate with GLS resistance (P<0.001), which could be converted into31QTL;12regions involved in resistance to GLS and three candidate genes conferring GLS resistance were identified based on Bioinformatics.
