Objective To clarify the prognostic factors of Nontraumatic Chronic Subdural Hematoma (NT-CSDH)Methods The clinical data of172patients with NT-CSDH in our hospital from January2009to December2013were collected and were analyzed retrospectively, and the general characteristics, clinical symptoms, CT findings, treatment and prognosis, etc were also analyzed statistically. Use X2test and Logistic regression analysis for statistical analysis. Results Retrospective analysis was performed for good prognosis group(n=149) and poor prognosis group(n=23). There were significant differences in age, treatment, coagulopathy, hypertension, Markwalder grade and GCS score when admission between the two groups. Logistic regression analysis showed that according to the odds ratio, the NT-CSDH prognostic factors were be sort by hypertension, coagulopathy, Markwalder grade when admission, and GCS score when admission. Conclusion This study is a retrospective analysis of prognostic factors for domestic nontraumatic chronic subdural hematoma. prognostic factor of Nontraumatic Chronic Subdural Hematoma include:patient’s comorbidities when admission (hypertension, coagulopathy), neurological status when admission (good Markwalder s grade and GCS score). Better understanding of these factors help to improve patient outcomes and reduce the risk of death in patients.
