Objective:On the basis of utility model patent "medical adjustable leg raising device", for further optimization, we developed the "intelligent adjustable leg raising system". Through prospective randomized controlled clinical study, analysis of "intelligent adjustable leg raising system" for hip and knee arthroplasty after the clinical curative effect of pain, swelling and joint function recovery. Then set up a corresponding operation specification and control standards.Methods:Combined with Jiangsu Yuyue medical equipment co., LTD. R&d center, the "medical adjustable leg raise device" was redesigned, and then the more intelligent, controllable and simplify "intelligent adjustable leg raise system" was developed. And then evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety. In March 2012 to December 2014, in trauma and orthopedics department of the affiliated hospital of Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Suzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Wuxi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Yangzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Artificial hip or knee joint replacement surgery in our hospital patients,40 cases were randomly divided into test way and the control group(n= 20).Experimental group used the "intelligent adjustable leg raising system" to push up limb, control group used brown’s bracket to raise limb, treatment of 1 d and 2 d,3 d,7 d and 14 d, observe two device for hip and knee arthroplasty patients postoperative swelling, swelling subsided time, pain, joint function score, medical staff calling rate and complications. And draw up an operation specification and control standards.Results:(1) According to the human body parameters, the original "medical adjustable leg raising device" material, structural parameters and dynamic components, such as running tracks from the optimization and design, to join the intelligent control system with a touch screen, developed a set of intelligent, can be regulatory, comfort, security, as one of the "intelligent adjustable leg raise system", can adjust the Angle of hip, knee and ankle joints of intelligent and leg raise height of and made the study of experimental prototype into clinical trials.(2) Random case-control clinical trials showed that after artificial hip and knee arthroplasty patients in the treatment of 1 d and 2 d,3 d,7 d swelling scores, VAS score when compared with control group, there were no statistically significant difference (P> 0.05), treatment of 14 d swelling scores, VAS score difference had statistical significance (P< 0.05);After hip arthroplasty regression and time difference of two groups was statistically significant (P< 0.05), after total knee arthroplasty regression and time difference of two groups had no statistical significance (P> 0.05);Harris score after hip arthroplasty and HSS score after total knee arthroplasty in the treatment of all the differences of two groups had no statistical significance (P> 0.05);2 groups after the hip and knee arthroplasty by limb raise produce discomfort and call the number of medical staff have significant statistical significance difference (P< 0.01), the number of cases of complications of two groups has no statistically significant difference (P> 0.05), and did not occur with other limb raised treatment-related side effects and complications.(3) Established the suitable for higher limb after artificial hip knee replacement of "intelligent adjustable leg raising system" operating norms and control standards.(4) In the process of the clinical using, the "intelligent adjustable leg raising system" running stably, no mechanical and software fault happened.Conclusion:After artificial hip and knee arthroplasty using self-developed "intelligent adjustable leg raise system" push up limb, in reducing the limb swelling, pain, but there was no difference in the treatment of 1~7d with the control group, treatment of 14 d slightly better than the control group;In the aspect of improving joint function, the recent curative effect and the control group.And no adverse reactions associated with limb up, does not increase the risk of complications, higher security.But the experimental group of intelligent control, easy operation, high comfort, good patients’ compliance.
