Research On Innovation In Philosophy

As an unique human practice activity, innovation is not only a significant sign ofhuman beings that differs from the animals, but also a fundamental approach for thedevelopment of human and society. Innovation plays a very important role in thehistory of human development. We can say that there wouldn’t be the appearance ofhuman beings without innovative activities, not alone the development of humansociety. With the development of human societies, the importance of innovation isincreasingly apparent, which is becoming more and more conscious behavior by thespontaneous behavior of the human development. Knowledge-based economy andinformation networks are the significant features in this era of the21st century. Withthe frequency to be accelerated with the updating of knowledge and informationdissemination ways to be increasing with the rapid change of the science andtechnology, all the societies are in a rapidly rheological process. Under thisbackground, all the rigid, conservative and unambitious approaches will not inclusiveby times, whereas innovation, which is not only to continue to break the routine butalso to achieve to exceed the reality in a timely manner, would adapt to therequirements of the continuous development of society. Therefore, we need forinnovation in today’s society more than ever. Innovation has become the theme of thesocial development and the spirit of the present era.The highlights of innovation is to promote the rapid development of innovativepractice, the development of innovative practice is to require innovative theoreticalresearch. The study of innovation theory begins mostly in the field of economics, butinnovation theoretical research spreads to the multidisciplinary fields of politicalscience, sociology, management science, philosophy and so on with the practice ofinnovation gradually penetrating into various fields of the developing society.Innovative theoretical research is limited mostly in a specific area or on a specificlevel from the current research status. Although this guidance specific innovativepractice can be targeted to improve the efficiency of innovation, it is not conducive tomaster the essential innovative characteristics or the basic innovative law, it isdifficult to form a systemic innovation theory in certain extent. Therefore, it is thedifficulties and focuses how to use the philosophical thinking way to refine thecommon features of the different areas of innovation and how to use more general scope to propose a more universal law of current innovation theory. Based on this, thisdissertation is focus on study on innovation in the perspective of philosophy, and aimsto build a more complete and innovative research system by the viewpoints andmethods of historical materialism. So, this dissertation starts to organize and constructaccording logically to “what is innovation，why do we innovative， how toinnovative， how to better innovative， how to use the innovative”. There are sixsections. Generally as follows:Preface. This section explains the background and the meanings of the dissertationaccording to the growing role of innovation in the development of the human being,urgently requirements of innovation in contempory society and the need forinnovation in the development of the theory and practice; then, it introduces theresearch status in and aboard, emarks them simply; it introduces the structure andways of this dissertion; finally, it introduces the shortcomings and the innovativepoints in this dissertion.Chapter Ⅰ, The connotation of the innovative elements, type and regularity. Thissection answers the “What is innovation”. Accordingly, it firstly starts to combe thegeneral understanding of innovation, general philosophical understanding, to give thephilosophical definition of innovation, to summary the main characteristics of theinnovation, and distern the elated conceptions on innovation; then it analyzes the basicelements and types of innovation; this section finally try to explore the basic law ofthe innovation.Chapter Ⅱ, social functions of innovation. This section argues largely with theproblem“Why we innovative?”. Accordingly, it examines firstly the impact ofinnovation on productivity in the substantive elements, non-substantive elements aswell as science and technology; Then it analyzes the role of innovation on the socialsystem from three aspects of the economic base, political superstructure and theideological superstructure; then it reveals the significance of innovation in thedevelopment of theoretical knowledge and cultural prosperity; this section concludesthat innovation is the fundamental way to improve the development of people’s own.Chapter Ⅲ, the dynamic mechanism of innovation. This section analyzes the issueof “how to innovative”. Accordingly, it analyses firstly the basis of the reality, thequality of the innovation subjects and innovatived achievements; Then it exploresinnovative power resources from the needs, interests, conflicts, practice, and hobbies; Finally, this section reveals the innovative implementation of conditionsfrom innovation to achieve the social environment and run the security conditions.Chapter Ⅳ, The test of practice on Innovation and Valuation. This sectiondiscusses “how to estimate innovate”.Accordingly, it discusses the innovativepractice of the inspection process and the valuation orientation in terms of thenecessity and the basic content of the test of practice on Innovation, the connotation,characteristics, significance and the basic orientation of the evaluationChapter Ⅴ, Innovation and the Development of Contemporary Chinese Society.This section is mainly to solve the problem “how to impulse the innovation andrealize the scientific development”. Accordingly, it firstly explains the significance ofinnovation in contemporary China’s social development from the process ofmodernization, international competitiveness, and scientific development; then itexplores the factors to constraint innovation in the development of contemporaryChinese society from economic, political, cultural and educational;finally, this sectionanalyses negative factors on innovation, pointing out the development path of socialinnovation in contemporary China.
