Vietnam is an agricultural society, growing wet rice as the main production form, Wet-rice civilization unique negative cultural characteristics which breeded and formed uniquely The religion of Mother Goddess in Vietnam. Since the matriarchal society, Vietnam negative slowly shaped Vietnamese culture with a negative traits of character, conception and cultural traditions. At the same time, The religion of Goddess also gradually become Vietnamese women of spiritual pillarThousands of years the religious Goddess throughout Vietnam, it is not hard to see, she has been in constant interaction with female life. On the one hand, the changes of female life directly led to the goddess the historical evolution of the core image:Vietnam in ancient agricultural society, the female holds the dominant force in wet rice agricultural production, Goddess image is fertility goddess; Medieval society in Vietnam, the female’s protest movement creates a free Goddess-LiuXing Goddess; When agricultural women gradually to engaged in the business women, economic godess became the core image of Mother Goddess. Women and Mother Goddess image with isomorphism, as Vietnam women in real life have position of "head of family", Goddess belief divine power is remarkable. As it were, the Goddess image has been developing, deducing and creating by dynasties women. In turn, the transition of Goddess belief has affected the Vietnam women’s cognition and behavior. Women absorb positive ideas from the mother goddess, so as to gradually form the self-identity, perfect, and emancipation; In addition, the Mother goddess religion also promotes women in action, more clear self responsibility, promote self division. Visible, women is always pushing the dominant power make religion of Goddess change and provide support for different periods of Vietnam female spiritual pillar, they always depend on each other.In order to better explore the interactive relationship of Goddess Faith and Vietnamese female, the author through Goddess at major ritual of a case study from the north and south Vietnam, to interpret Vietnam women in faith world also in real life. This thesis mainly includes three parts:The first part introduces the Vietnamese ancient agricultural society the negative cultural soil. Vietnamese ancient society is a typical agricultural society mainly small-scale peasant mode of production. Vietnam’s agricultural culture tend to be negative heavy Mother phenomenon, its main performance two aspects in history and folk cultures. Agricultural society with feminine soil together contributed to the formation and development of the goddess belief, in the Vietnamese cultural corridor, the Goddess image of each period is closely related with women in social life. Therefore, for women,the Goddess is holy mother image, then Mother Goddess faith gradually become the Mother of worship.In the Second part, the author make a case study, mainly including Len Dong ritual and pilgrimage in women’s studies in the north Vietnam and the south of women, both of them is the main of the mother goddess belief ceremony, most belief activities belong to women. This section an overview of the Vietnamese women who understand and operate of the goddess ritual, they how to actively to express themselves during the ritual, and how to use religious rituals to adjust the real life. Through the women in the goddess ritual to see theirs role in the family and society, as every faith behavior on the basis of real life, so the author explained the status of women in daily life from the female behavior of the ritual, also try to investigate male role in the Mother Goddess belief to analyze the Mother Goddess religion of identification.The third part mainly analyzes in the sacred and secular life of Vietnamese women. This section found in the above case study the interaction between the women in the sacred life and the secular life. Religious Vietnamese women often show a greater autonomy in material life and spiritual life. The material life of women is mainly refers to women of duty, obligation, responsibility and economic bear, The spiritual life is the faith activities, especially the mother goddess ritual. On the north of Len Dong ritual activities and the south of pilgrimage activities are showed women self adjusting and self-release, self-identity. They update themselves by Goddess rituals, further express between Goddess and Female of the gender identity and feminist consciousness. The most prominent is, the mother goddess belief effectively guarantee the Vietnam women of family economic in the current Vietnam women from agriculture to business identity transformation process, in a sense, Goddess faith also gradually become a set of contemporary women economic life of a kind economic Folklore and cultural security.Conclusion part is a summary of the topic and ascend. Summarizes the investment beliefs of Vietnamese women in real life:they through self-identity, self division, thus getting social identity. Due to women choose to goddess faith guarantee theirs economic folk custom, so for development economic folk custom in Vietnam, Goddess belief has important research value.
