These unnormal or mysterious phenomenon, according to different classification criteria, usually be called "witchcraft","genie","magic","catastrophe" such like that, and made peope confused. As a historical book, Zuozhuan should record the truth and should be realistic; but these mysterious and unusual phenomenon was part of the ancient history of witchcraft tradition. The historiographer has unique knowledge background and the official career requirement are the condition of these stories of anomaly in ZuoZhuan. And because of the ChunQiu period official academic fell down, the historiographer used the anomaly to persuade the dominator to doing the right things. These anomalies made ZuoZhuan became more interesting and more imaginative, but these historiographers didn’t plan to made ZuoZhuan became more literariness, they recorded these stories as like they were real, they most time believed these stories were real, and reflected the culture of the ChunQiu period. These stories also reflected in ChunQiu period people’s perception of the world, the way they thought, the background of their knowledge, and their emotion and value orientation. These mysterious and unusual phenomenon are a miniature of the ChunQiu period, and it is the real historical expression. Exploring the cultural meaning behind these anomaly will helps us understanding the reality of the ChunQiu period, and there is a great deal of research value.This paper based on analysis of many recordings of the anomaly in ZuoZhuan, though closing reading analyzing them, and using sociology, cultural science, anthropology and psychology research methods. In this paper by we will analysis, statistics, classification these anomaly, try to research the anomaly’s social and cultural context, to find the anomaly’s source. And explore the historiographer’s psychological motivation and people in the spring and autumn period how rto understand、explain and record these anomaly in ZuoZhuan. This paper just try to Recover these strange phenomena’s reasons of social and cultural, and try to find the meaning of beyond the text.Paper main body is divided into five parts. The first part defines the concept of "anomaly", and base on the whole vision of zuozhuan it will statistic and classify these anomaly and to find the pattern of the anomaly’s distribution state of different time and place, and how the social and political culture effect the distribution. The time of zuozhuan was written and its material sources had effected these anomaly how to be recorded. Then explore the way of the rumors how to be spreaded and how to be documented. In the second part mainly discuss the review the astronomical anomaly, including the solar eclipse, SuiXing magnitude (fire), the guest star, shouting stars, meteorites, comets, and gas and so on.
