Inner-party Supervision Of The Communist Party Of China In The New Period Of History (1978-2012),

The strengthening of party building is essential for the ruling position of theCommunist Party of China (CPC). The reinforcement of inner-party supervision asone of the major subjects of party building in this new epoch is particularly prominentfor maintaining the Party’s advanced nature and purity, may comprehensively improvethe scientific level of party building, and is therefore particularly significant.In this paper, from a historical perspective of the new period of reform andopening-up history of the Chinese Communist Party inner-party supervision of theevolution and development, summarize the historical experience from today, tofurther strengthen inner-party supervision, improve the scientific level of Partybuilding, and strive to achieve the great goal of comprehensive building well-offsociety to provide a reference to the important reality.This dissertation is divided into three parts, the introduction, the main bodyincluding five chapters, and the conclusion.The introduction discusses the major topics of motivation and significancedetermined and the distinction between the concept of the core concept, the currentstatus of research and articles framework, the general idea of the study and researchmethods.The first chapter is an overview of inner-party supervision prior to the ThirdPlenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, which can be divided into twohistorical stages—before and since the party’s ruling of the country. The chapterattempts to trace the path CPC grew from a revolutionary party to the ruling partyfrom the perspective of inner-party supervision.The second chapter discusses the restoration and development of inner-partysupervision in the new era. With the collapse of the "Gang of Four" in October1976,the party and the country entered a new historical period, inner-party supervision andrelevant organs and bodies were restored, and new development began.The third chapter focuses on the development of inner-party supervision between1989and2002when Comrade Jiang Zemin was in power. Analyzed in this chapterare explorations made and results achieved with regard to inner-party supervisionduring the13years. The fourth chapter discusses inner-party supervision’s growth towards maturitysince2002.
