To achieve national prosperity and national great revival is all the Chinese people’s common dream. To achieve this goal, we must have two basic conditions:one is to ensure long-term, stable domestic political situation, the second is to build a good peripheral security environment. In terms of the latter, as one of China’s important neighbors Japan, Sino-Japanese relations as a pair of important bilateral relations between China and foreign countries, creating a favorable peripheral security environment of our country has an important strategic role. In other words, it is a great significance to the Chinese dream to ensure the lasting, stable and healthy development of China-Japan relations and to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. However, looking back at history and focusing on the reality, it’s not hard to find that although the Chinese, its government and the wise Japanese have tried their best to restore and develop Sino-Japanese relations since the foundation of new China, especially since the end of the cold war, bilateral relations have always been unsmooth and with troubles, even till today hitting a low. The situation being like this, except the destruction of the Japanese right wing, is mainly because of America’s long-term intervention and sabotage which is also one of the important reasons that we can’t ignore. It is the obstacles that America set for the Sino-Japan relations which cause the normalization of China-Japan diplomatic relations to be realized. It is due to America giving up the hostile policy to china and approving Japanese to change the policy to china that can make it possible to restore the Sino-Japan diplomatic ties. It is also owing to American continuous intervention after the diplomatic ties between China and constantly pursuing a policy of both sides between the two powers in east Asia that cause friction between the two countries to be often testy and ugraded. Therefore, there are important academic value and great realistic significance to study of the American factors in China-Japan relations which is established after the founding of the Chinese republic of China. Regrettably, however, domestic academia has so far only discussed about it in an indirect and scattered way and there is no system of related works. Because of this, this article, in order to make up for the inadequacy of the issue of academic research and to contribute to improve the bottom China-Japan relations, will have a large span system carding and depth of research about a series of problems such as effect and features of the United States factors in the role of Sino-Japanese relations in different periods within more than60years from1949to1949. The author will be in strictly abide by the academic norms and on the basis of predecessors research results for reference, following the "what" and "why","how to do" the basic logical thinking, using literature analysis, historical comparative, interdisciplinary comprehensive research method to complete this works. The paper consists of the introduction, six chapters of main text and the conclusion. The introduction part, mainly explains why the author selected this topic, the significance, research ideas, research methods and research status at home and abroad. The first chapter mainly discusses the American factors of Sino-Japanese relations in isolated period. Articles, from U.S. changing occupation policy to Japan before and after the founding of new China and Japan’s ruling authorities pursuing a policy of "pro-american, anti-china", analyzing the American malicious purpose of the manipulation of signing the San Francisco peace treaty, the Japan-U.S. security treaty and the Japan-tai peace treaty, pointing out three obstacles which United States set are the main causes of Sino-Japanese relations between1949and1952.The second chapter mainly discusses the American factors of civilian exchanges in Sino-japanese relations. This article, sets American comprehensively implementations of the cold war containment policy toward China and Japan’s ruling authorities which resolutely pursued "pro-american, anti-china" policy as the background, discusses how the American government obstructed china-japan economic and trade exchanges, deepened involvement in diplomatic relations between China and Japan, induced Japan to interfer the Taiwan issue, and American government tried to enforce japan to implement the containment policy toward China, which is the root cause of causing the unsmooth development of the non-governmental exchanges from1952to1962.The third chapter mainly analyzes the American factors of "half officer, half civilian" exchanges in Sino-Japanese. Articles mainly discuss American factors from the following aspects:the United States going on to adopt the hostile policy to China, focusing on the United States forcing Japan to strengthen China "separation of political and economic policy and the use of the Taiwan issue to continue to set barriers between China and Japan. And the article claims that the United States’s deliberately blocking and sabotage is the important reason of pause or even severe downturn of half officer, half civilian communication from1962to1972。The fourth chapter mainly claims that the American factors of Sino-Japanese relations in the diplomatic relations establishment period. Based on the reconciliation of China-U.S. relations as the breakthrough point, the article states the American "approving" and promoting Japan to develop diplomatic ties with China, which is the key to the implementation of the final normalization of China-Japan diplomatic ties. The fifth chapter, mainly discusses the United States factors after the Sino-Japanese relations restored from the global and Asia-pacific strategic interests of the United States in later cold war years and during the post-cold war period, and focuses on the inner association between America changing the policy to China as well as Japan and the evolution of China-Japan relations, this article finds that the leading cause of Sino-Japanese relations ups and downs in1980s especially since the end of the cold war till now is that United States use both sides of the policy of contact and containment and strengthen the U.S.-Japan alliance to prevent the momentum of China’s rise constantly. The sixth chapter mainly analyzes and expounds the cause and the enlightenment of the United States long-term involvement in Sino-Japanese relations. Article is analyzed from two aspects of the United States and Japan to the United States intervene in Sino-Japanese relations and that the cause of that America being able to interfere in China-Japan relations for long-term effects are mainly because the United States need to seek world hegemony is consistent with Japanese traditional foreign interaction with alignment to exclude the American factors, the basic thing is that we should be clearly aware of American continuous long time intervene to China-Japan relations, construct good Sino-American relations to put China-Japan relations forward, and be alert to Japan the right using Japan-U.S. alliance to block our modernization to enhance national comprehensive strength quickly. Conclusive analysis is about how to resolve the American factors on the negative effects of the relations between China and Japan.
