The Eighteenth National Congress report of the CPC proposes that the whole party should adhere to Chinese characteristic socialism with Self-confidence in the road, theory and social system. It is an innovation of CPC’s ruling philosophy, the main content of contemporary Chinese discourse, the value support and the spiritual power of realizing national rejuvenation. Ideological and political education as the main channel and the main territory of Chinese discourse should finely tell Chinese stories and spread Chinese voice in conversational discourse, which is the mission of the times entrusted by the construction of Chinese characteristics of discourse system and the central task of the current ideological and political education. Therefore, The study on the dialogue of ideological and political education is apparently necessary and urgent.This dissertation regards dialogue as the core and analyzes the following four levels of the ideological and political education dialogue study:why we need make a dialogue--purpose and meaning, what is a dialogue--its essence and feature, why it could be possible--theoretical basis and conditions, how to achieve it mechanism and path. The author establishes an appropriate theoretical framework on the dialogue nature, elements, characteristics and paradigm. The study explores the feasibility of the ideological and political education dialogue in the following five aspects:from subjectivity to inter subjectivity, from talents to adults, from text to humanity, from the theoretical world to the life world, and from reality to virtual life. The author attempts to establish theoretical and practical systems for the ideological and political education dialogue through exploring the realizing dialogue strategies of requirements, principles, contents, processes and patterns.1.General theoretical review of modern ideological and political education dialogue. Firstly, the author clarifies the definition and category of the ideological and political education dialogue, and reveals the connotation and denotation, functional features of the ideological and political education dialogue. Secondly, the author discloses the essence of the ideological and political education dialogue from three levels, thought interaction based on subjective equality, meaning share on bi-directional understanding and deep construction of self-value presentation. Secondly, the author analyzes the elements of the ideological and political education dialogue from subject, object, media and environment. Lastly, the author illustrates the generative conditions of the ideological and political education dialogue from the perspectives of thinking style innovation, multi-discourse media and appropriate rational communication.2.Theoretical foundation of modern ideological and political education dialogue. Firstly, the author builds the theoretical basis of the ideological and political education dialogue on the theory of Marxist practical materialism, the theory of social interaction, the theory of Marxist anthropology. Secondly, the author put relevant theories of western philosophy into practice, especially Martin Buber’s ontological philosophy, Bakhtin’s linguistic dialogue theory and David Bom’s dialogue theory. Thirdly, the author enriches the theoretical resources of the ideological and political education dialogue with Chinese traditional philosophy. Lastly, the author expands the theoretical horizon of the ideological and political education dialogue with reference to the relevant disciplines, like philosophy, pedagogy, psychology and linguistics.3.Realistic situation of modern ideological and political education dialogue. Firstly, the author reveals the real state of the ideological and political education dialogue from the basic representation and dilemma of ideological and political education monologue. Secondly, the author discloses the meaning crisis of the ideological and political education dialogue from the masking effect of human, losing good in real world, the absence of speaking in the domain. Thirdly, the author uncovers the realistic challenge of the ideological and political education dialogue from the trend of globalization, human’s network survival experience and diversified development trend of interests. Lastly, the author reveals the ideal state of the ideological and political education dialogue from dialogue appeal, paradigm, target and method in the dramatic transformation of contemporary society.4.The growing trend of modern ideological and political education dialogue. Firstly, the subjectivity development of Ideological and political education indicates that the ideological and political education dialogue should change from subjectivity to inter subjectivity. Secondly, the target development trend uncovers that modern ideological and political education dialogue emphasizes on the process from talents to adults. Thirdly, the value orientation development of Ideological and political education makes it clear that the ideological and political education dialogue should change from text to humanism.Fourthly, the content development tendency of modern ideological and political education shows that the ideological and political education dialogue should change from the theoretical world to the life world. Lastly, the domain development tendency shows that the ideological and political education dialogue should go from reality to the virtual.5.Implementation strategies of modern ideological and political education dialogue. Firstly, we should have a clear idea about the requirement of modern ideological and political education dialogue through determining subjective educational philosophy, achieving the transformation of management notions, selecting proper dialogue method and create ideal dialogue environment. Secondly, we need analyze the principles we should adhere to under the guidance of principle orientation, democracy, openness, moderation and persuasion. Thirdly, we have to grasp the content of modern ideological and political education dialogue from main contents, hierarchical structure and definite ground. Fourthly, we need to reveal the process of modern ideological and political education dialogue from sending, receiving, feedback and evaluating information. Lastly, it is necessary to reconstruct the pattern of modern ideological and political education dialogue on the basis of linear mode, bi-directional feedback mode, systematic mode and bi-directional interactive mode.On the whole, the dissertation takes the effectiveness and vitality of modern ideological and political education as the ground, focuses on the successful realization of ideological and political education dialogue and holds a perspective of dialogue to reflect the ideological and political education. It breaks away from the traditional view about political and ideological education. From the viewpoint of ontology, the author regards dialogue as a human’s survival statement and a life style, and advances academic viewpoints" instruction in dialogue and having dialogues in instr uctions" and "dialogue community" on dialogue thinking. The significance of the study is profound.it reveals the ontological meaning of ideological and political education dialogue for human existence and development. It highlights the importance and value of the ideological and political education dialogue for the construction of human’s spirit. Furthermore, it reveals the true connotation of the ideological and political education dialogue and provides theoretical basis for the exploration of the roots of the ideological and political education dialogue.
