After the rapid expansion of the scale of higher vocational education, peoplebegan to pay more attention to the development of its meaning. There exitscontradiction between the growths of recruit students number in the highervocational education and the lower quality of the school and training standards.This paper attempts to survey critically bout the model of teaching in highervocational education around the theory of human’s comprehensive development.The model of teaching is a specific teaching paradigm covering teachingfacilities, teaching methods, teaching content, teaching subject and object. It isalso an important part of the model of talents-training. In the modern society, notonly do we require to cultivate the highly skilled talents that the society needs,but also the qualified citizens of all-round development. In order to meet thetraining requirements of a higher level, it is necessary to construct the model ofhigher vocational education with the theory of human’s comprehensivedevelopment.The main idea of this paper is showed by two clues: the theory of human’scomprehensive development and the model of teaching in higher vocationaldevelopment. This thesis firstly traced on the theory of human’s comprehensivedevelopment from both Western culture and Chinese culture in chronologicalorder. It also based on the explanation on the theory of humans comprehensivedevelopment from national leaders to explain the theory of human’scomprehensive development in China and further illustrate the important role ofthe theory of humans comprehensive in education. Another clue of this paper isthe study on the model of teaching in higher vocational education based on thetheory of human’s comprehensive development with the method ofcross-sectional study. The author analyses the frame of the model of teaching inhigher vocational education and whether the model of teaching could promotehumans comprehensive development in order to provoke the thinking that whatkind of mode be more appropriate for higher vocational education and the needsof human’s comprehensive development. To be more convinced in cross-bordercomparisons, the analysis on each model of teaching is from a fixed frame point of view: theoretical foundation-the implementation process-questions anddiscussion, the relationship in human’s comprehensive development. What shapedo we strive to clear the existing model of higher vocational education? Why is itso? How to implement it? What role does it play? The author shows us a clearexplanation according to these problems. Between the two parts, the paper alsogives us the key to why do we study on the model of teaching in highervocational education with the theory of human’s comprehensive development.The thesis makes us clear of the inner relationship between the theory of human’scomprehensive development and the model of teaching in higher vocationaleducation. These are the issues of this paper. According to these comprehensiveexplanations above, this paper does study on the principle of construction,strategy and approach from the theory of human’s comprehensive development tothe model of teaching in higher vocational education. We hope that the thesistriggers much thinking and conscious apply of more theory researchers andpractical workers to improve the quality of teaching and meet the demands fromthe society to higher vocational education through the study.
