Study On The Ecological Moral Education Of College Students

With the global resource depletion and environmental pollution increasingly prominent, ecological problems became the most realistic and most pressing challenges of the times. In order to get rid of the plight of the ecological crisis, people began to reflect constantly on the need to find the reasons from human beings themselves, the root of the problem lies in the people. To eliminate environmental problems, we must first cultivate people’s ecological awareness and ecological values. The 18th CPC National Congress took "Beautiful China" as the grand goal of building the future of ecological civilization. Ecological and moral education are therefore placed in a prominent position in the 21st century education. Ecological and moral education is an issue closely linked with the times and the policy is an important part of the ideological and political education. Besides the introduction, this thesis consists of three parts.The first part of the thesis -the fist four chapters, is the necessity and urgency of ecological and moral education of college students. The concept of ecological and moral education of college students, as well as features and strategic position of China and the West ecological theory and practice of moral education are analyzed to illustrate the theoretical basis of the paper. Through substantive analysis of the ecological crisis, we draw the conclusion that the nature of ecological crisis is the crisis of human nature. As can be seen from the current situation of Contemporary Ecological Moral Education of college students, the whole situation is not optimistic. Outdated content and a single, poor practice are the major factors. We should enhance the ecological point of view of moral education of college students and improve the strategic position of university students from the all-round development of college students to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education.The second part of the thesis, the fifth chapter, target selection and construction of ecological moral education of contemporary university students. This thesis presents and analyzes the content of target selection of ecological and moral education of college students, explain the objectives from the aspects of ecological and moral knowledge, moral emotion ecology, ecological and moral beliefs, ecological and moral will, ecology ethical behavior. By explaining the contents of the ecological moral education, we strive to achieve the construction of ecological value of education, ecological and moral philosophy of education, ecological norms education, ecological quality education and ecological education law. Also the specific requirements of each ecological concepts and moral education contents were described.The third part of the article, the sixth chapter, is the advancing path of ecological moral education. Based on the in-depth study of the theory of ecological moral education, the thesis further explores specific measures of the ecological and moral education of college students, proposes the practical application of improving the system of higher education and university training programs target system, strengthening ecological and moral education practice and organizational leadership and the protection of the system. It proposes that we should promote eco-ethics education for college students in many ways and channels, by the curricular, extra-curricular, in school activities, in order to achieve an effective combination of theory and concrete practice, which effectively play the role of ecological moral education.This thesis argues that the ecological and moral education of college students is a new ideological and political education. The expansion and enrichment of the ecological and moral education of college students are of very practical significance, for the construction of social, economic and sustainable development of ecological civilization, and provide a theoretical basis for the development and practice of ecological moral education to promote ideological and political education theory. To this end, China’s ecological and moral education should learn and absorb the outcome of the theory and practice of Western ecology moral education in the ideological guidance of Marxism, and guide college students by raising consciousness eco-consciousness into moral, ecological and ethical standards and the appropriate moral behavior from moral values of the interdependence between man and nature, ecological harmony.
