| Wen Xuan Ji Zhu was an anonymous and integrated works, which quoted Li Shan annotation, Chao, Yin Jue, Wu Jia annotation and Lu Shanjing annotation and The editor’s comments were attached after a short paragraph. Wen Xuan Ji Zhu had120volumes, but existed only25volumes. Although many of them were fragmented, they still play an extremely important value and role in version, collated, and other research literature.On the basis of a systematic comparison between Wen Xuan Ji Zhu and the carved versions such as Li Shan annotation’s offprint of Imperial College, You Mao, Hu Kejia; Wu Jia annotation’s offprint of Chen Balang, Zhen De and the aggregated annotation of Kui Zhang Ge, Ming Zhou, Gan Zhou and Cong Kan, we had done a comprehensive and systematic study from both macro (historical context) and micro (close reading of the text) aspects. The main contents are as follows:Chapter1A brief account on Wen Xuan Ji Zhu. Based on the full integration of the results of previous studies,we sorted out Wen Xuan Ji Zhu’s discovery, publishing and spreading course and presented the corresponding supplementary and research. We proved it to be Tang dynasty literature based on the academia comments of existing view.Chapter2Li Shan annotation. First, we investigated the text evolution from Tang Dynasty to Song Dynasty in the light of the versions such as Du Huang, Ji Zhu, Imperial College and You Mao. Second, by a systematic comparison between Ji Zhu and Imperial College and You Mao, together with depth interpretation about Li Shan annotation, we did an analysis of Li Shan increasing annotation sources. Next, we indicated that Wen Xuan Ji Zhu and Li Shan annotation of Song were not in a single line of the spread. Last, we discussed of Li Shan annotation version and collation values.Chapter3Chao and Yin Jue. First, we investigated the authors of Chao and Yin Jue based on the combination method of external and internal evidence. Second, we elaborated the contents, features and values of Chao. Next, some compiling styles of Chao and a general description about Yin Jue were given respectively.Chapter4Wu Jia annotation. We gave a re-evaluation of the values of Wu Jia annotation by comparisons between Ji Zhu and the carved versions. At the same time, the confusions about the names of Wu Jia between them were also investigated.Chapter5Lu Shanjing annotation. We pointed out Lu Shanjing annotation quoted by Wen Xuan Ji Zhu were heavily deleted by Ji Zhu’s editor, and which lost it original appearance. Then detailed analysis about the contents, features and values were illustrated.Chapter6Compilation research on Wen Xuan Ji Zhu. First, we analyzed and summed up the re-divided volume style, and compilation styles such as scrape-off repeated comments, reserving differences between them and etc. Next, detailed discussions of the characteristics of the editor’s note language were presented, which can complement the lack of research nowadays. |
