| Tree root is the tree’s vital organ for getting nutrition and ensuring fixed branches. Whereas because of its uniqueness in growth environment, it is difficult in observation, which made the progress of its study relatively slow. This paper proposes the use of ground-penetrating radar to detect tree roots as a non-destructive method to effectively solve the difficult problem of sampling.Meanwhile, through the processing of the radar image,we are able to achieve the in situ measurement and positioning of the distribution of tree roots in the soil. This paper mainly focus on the research of radar image inversion algorithm for the use of ground penetrating radar detection process and detection of ground penetrating synthetic aperture,At the same time, we test and analysis the performance of proposed algorithm of the actual ground-penetrating radar image processing. This article was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation (31270757/C201337) and the Guangzhou Institute of Landscape Gardening in the course of the study, the specific contents as follows:(1) According to ground-penetrating radar image processing sequence, first we focus on tree roots ground penetrating radar images clutter suppression method.Due to the nature and characteristics of a variety of ground-penetrating radar clutter image, based on A-SCAN data, we proposed clutter suppression algorithms for a variety of ground-penetrating radar clutter tree roots classifications.(2) We study two common methods of research and analysis for selected ground-penetrating radar processing. We combined the factor of tree roots inherent characteristics to evaluate performance of the two algorithms, conduct ground-penetrating radar images tree roots anti-speech imaging algorithm selection.(3) In order to complete the acquisition target located in the root inversion imaging, we study the electromagnetic wave propagation velocity in the soil estimation algorithm.Common methods for the sampling includes inserting probe into the soil, detect the soil by professional instrument measuring the dielectric constant velocity and then extrapolation.Since the method is too complicated, we propose the use of estimation algorithm based on ground-penetrating radar electromagnetic wave speed image processing technology.(4) Formulate a root synthetic aperture imaging algorithm design according to the root GPR image features based on the inversion of wave equation migration technology Stolt trees and ground-penetrating radar images. Through the improved algorithm, we can makes the inversion results more focused, more accurate imaging results orientation in order to achieve non-destructive detection of root situ localization requirements.Besides, this paper also designed tests of algorithm for actual ground-penetrating radar image processing. According to the test results analysis, the processing accuracy of the algorithm, the scope and stability of the algorithm all meet the requirements. |
