Healthcare service insufficiency and inequality in access to healthcare, have already been a bottleneck problem that constraints China’s development. Therefore, providing surficient and high quality healthcare service turns out to be one of the most important issues in the construction of the so called Harmonious Society. The problem of healthcare service insufficiency and inequality can be summarized into one core problem, scant healthcare service coverage. The technological way in the solving of this core problem is to further proceed the informatization in healthcare field, and to construct a healthcare system that allows Anyone to access at Anytime and Anywhere.Along with the National Strategy for technology development, Sensing China, the Ubiquitous Network system developed rapidly. The vision of the Ubiquitous Network is to enable people to enjoy’4A’ communication, i.e., Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere, Anything. It’s obvious that the vision of Ubiquitous Network perfectly conforms the goal of healthcare development.Ubiquitous Network is commonly considered to have a three layer structure, perception layer, network layer and application layer. Ubiquitous Healthcare Network is the application of Ubiquitous Network in the field of healthcare, and it is also three layer structured. On each layer of the Ubiquitous Healthcare Network, there are many issues that need to be studied throughly. Within the three layers, perception layer is the one that deserves most attention. First of all, perception layer is the source of the data that is to be used in Ubiquitous Healthcare Network, it makes this layer the foundation of the Ubiquitous Healthcare Network. Further more, the pervasiveness stage of the perception layer devices in China is similar to that of the developed countries’. Under such circumstances, to develop the perception layer technology and spread perception layer devices will benefit the promotion of China’s healthcare as the latest technology achievements can be utilized. Meanwhile, the bost of the perception layer device utilization will cast great demand on the relative industries, hence promote economy growth. When analyzing the perception layer of Ubiquitous Healthcare Network, we can see that it can be devided into some sublayers, including Body area Sensor Network (BSN) sublayer, Wireless Sensor Network/Wireless Local Area Network (WSN/WLAN) sublayer, and Wireless Access Network (WAN) sublayer. The former two sublayers are closely related to users and the application environment, which is called the Terminal networks. In this dissertation, we foucused on the Ubiquitous Healthcare Terminal Networks (UHTN), and researched some key technologies systematically.Firstly, we clearified that the essence of the UHTN is a kind of Large Scale System (LSS), therefore it is proper to have large scale system cybernetics used in UHTN research as a guidance. Under the discipline of the large scale system cybernetics, in order to analyse the large scale system, we listed the application scenes and summarized them, extracting a Virable-sized Model (VM) that describes the structure of UHTN. With the structure of the UHTN VM, in order to satisfy the macro analysis of the large scale system, we researched the clustering technology on each sublayer, and proposed some optimized schemes. At the same time, we did some micro-level researches on BSN and WLAN sublayers, and proposed transmission optimization schemes. Proposed clustering and transmission optimization schemes in this dissertation are:(1) As to BSN sublayer, an external biomedical device opportunistic relaying scheme, as well as an amended cooperative BSN relaying scheme is proposed. Both of the schemes are aimed at promoting the energy efficiency of implanted devices and prolong their recharge cycle.(2) As to WSN sublayer, assuming the network nodes are uniformly distributed, location clustering scheme based on hybrid locating means is proposed. Another central node assisted distributed hybrid locating means is also proposed to improve the location clustering scheme.(3) As to WSN sublayer, a game theoretic cluster adjusting algorithm is proposed to produce a proper cluster structure that is suitable for the condition that network nodes are normally distributed.(4) As to WLAN sublayer, the clustering of WLAN, an important infrastructure of UHTM, is considered, and a novel cochannel interference avoidance strategy is proposed to alleviate the intercluster interference of large scale deploied WLAN in UHTM.
