A Research On The Language Of The Chinese Textbooks In The Late Joseon Dvnasty

Since ancient times, North Korea has a long history of teaching Chinese.In the late Joseon Dynasty, It appeared a number of Chinese textbooks such as "QiZhe Yi Pi"(《骑著一匹》)"Hua Yin Cuo Yao "(《华音�'�要》)"Guan Hua Lue Chao"(《关话晷抄》)and so on. These books have a strong oral feature of that time,basically it reflects the spoken language. It particularly reflects that the lexis of this textbook has been very close to the modern Chinese language, and has the dialect’s feature of the Northeast. The textbook has its unique linguistic value either for direct source of modern Chinese,or to the history of the Northeast dialect. This paper selected some Chinese textbooks which have the dialect’s feature of the Northeast such as " Qi Zhe Yi Pi"(《骑著一匹》)and" Hua Yin Cuo Yao"(《华音�'�要》)as the basic materials.We used Korean pronunciation and Korean translations of the textbooks to describe and analyze some special language phenomenon.The dissertation includes five chapters. Chapter1describes the reasons for thesis selection,current researches,value, method and the materials of the Chinese textbooks in the late Joseon Dynasty.Chapter2is about phonetics.We mainly investigate some special phonetic phenomenon such as initial consonant of r change to nothing,confusion of the flat and warped tongue.We described these pronunciation phenomenon in the textbook in detail. Focus on revealing the phonetic phenomena of the Northeast dialect characteristics and research value in the history of modern Chinese phonetics.Chapter3is about vocabulary.This part include four aspects:The first aspect is commonly used words,We mainly investigate some words about accommodation and put which have a strong dialect’s feature of the Northeast. And then depicts their usage, sources and evolution in the Northeast dialect. The second one is to explain some difficult words.The third one is through investigating some changed or unchanged words,We can provide some samples for the relationship of the Northeast dialect between the Qing Dynasty and modern age.The last one is described the proverbs in textbooks carefully,reveals a number of rare proverbs which are only used in the Northeast dialect.Chapter4is about grammar.This part mainly discuss some special grammatical phenomenon.such as ge or gua and so on.Describc these grammatical phenomenon and features.Chapter5is to investigate the errors in these textbooks.and then discover the main reason is influenced by the negative transfer of mother tongue.
