In this dissertation,a series of Gemini surfactant with different hydrophobic chains(Gm-2-m)were synthesized base on diphenylethane and their aggregation properties in solution were studied by steady-state fluorescence, transmission electron microscope(TEM),dynamic light scattering(DLS).Also,a series of Gemini surfactant with different spacer(9-n-9)and mono-surfactant(9-2)were synthesized base on nonyl phenol, and the interaction between surfactant and cationic cellulose were studied by surface tension, turbidimetric titration,steady-state fluorescence, steady state rheology,TEM and DLS.The main results were as follows:1.Compared with the mono-surfactants sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate(SDBS),Gemini surfactants(Gm-2-m)are more likely to self-assemble to form micelles in aqueous solution. With the increase of surfactant concentration, the micro-polarity decreases, and the micelle aggregation number and radius increase. The micelle aggregation number decreases when hydrophobic chain of Gemini surfactants increase at the same standardized concentration, but it is easy to form to vesicile.Added Sodium chloride to the solution can reduce the micro polarity, but increase the number, especially at high concentration of Gemini surfactants.2.The same conclusions were got by surface tension and steady-state fluorescence: the CAC and CMC of Surfactant/JR400 were lower than the corresponding pure surfactants and the CAC and CMC of 9-n-9/JR400 were lower than 9-2/JR400.3.The initial point of maximum turbidity(C2)and the end point of turbidity(C3)of complex system were increased with the concentration of cationic cellulose. At the same concentration of cationic cellulose,The C2 increase but C3 decreases while the charger density of cationic cellulose increase.4.The viscosity curve of complex system can be divided into three regions(interval point for C1 and C2).When C < C1,surfactant micelles were adsorpted on the cationic cellulose chain without network structure and the zero shear viscosity basic no change.when C1 < C < C2,network structures are formed and the zero shear viscosity rise;when C > C2,network structure collapsed and zero shear viscosity decreased. The maximum zero shear viscosity increased with the space of Gemini surfactant 9-n-9 increase.
