There anre two characteristics of the mineral resources in China.There is little mines with single resource,while most of mines with multi-resources.The same ore or the ore in the same area was influenced by the metallogenic geological processes in several times,which makes the mining the ores complex.Therefore,it has the important sence in doing research on the theory of surface mining the multi-resources.The paper wants to put forwards the design theory of surface mining multi-resources.The design parameters of the open pit mines include the open pit limit,the production of ore and rock and the stripping ratio in the different periods.The parameters determine the mining system,mining process and the transportation system development.The paper takes the surface mining the coal and aluminum Symbiotic resources as an example.The papers do the research the surface mining the coal and aluminum symbiotic resources in the aspects of boundary demarcation of surface mine,stripping ratio and the development of open pit,and drew the following conclusions.The paper analyzed the charateristics of surface mining the multi-resources,put forwards the rules and method of the boundary demarcation of surface mine with multi resources.The paper built the process and the method of the boundary demarcation as the example of the coal and aluminum symbiotic resources aiming at the total benefit and the production of the main resource stably.The paper built the basic model of development speed and put forwards the conception and the calculation method of the production in open pit mines with the coal and aluminum symbiotic resources in light of the principles of ones with the single resource.For the unbalance of stripping ratio can make the production and the equipment fluctuation,we should change the traditional method of stripping ratio calculation in the computer.The paper gave the conception and the setup methods of the mining matrix and mining constraint matrix creativley.We can adjust the mining matrix by delaying the time of mining the deeper resource to demand the mining constaint matrix.Through the case study on the Hejiaqi mine,it showed that the geology model built by 3DMine based on the geology data and the mining matrix we got were correct.The aluminum ore should be mined by delaying nine years after the coal which can keep the production in whole life of mines.The case study is carried out to improve the effectiveness and correctness of the thesis' research contents,methods and conclusions which will be significant to enriching and developing design theory and practical application for surface mining.
