Based on the ship lightweight engineering,a novel composite plate which possessed light weight,impact resistance and energy absorption properties was prepared by the continuous basalt fiber(CBF)composite plate and sphere open cell aluminium foam,through experimental research,the CBF composite plate,sphere open cell aluminium foam and their composite plate static mechanics,dynamic mechanics and impact properties were studied,and the obtained results can provide a reference for the functional integration plate of ship lightweight design.The main research work of this thesis is as follows:1.The experiment device of Hopkinson bar which is used for studying material dynamic mechanical properties has been improved.The hollow cone impact bar was adopted to restrain incident wave dispersion effect,and through numerical simulation and experiment testing,the results show that this method can effectively restrain the split Hopkinson pressure bar incident wave dispersion;In order to prove the rationality and reliability of self-designed double airchambers impact tension device,the stress wave propagation effect on the designed device was studied by the experiment and numerical simulation;The split Hopkinson pressure bar was modified to complete the composite plate penetration test,and also the strain rosette was adopted to paste on the plate near the penetration point to evaluate penetration effect.2.The mechanical properties and damage properties of CBF composite plate which made by two different technology were studied by experiment.The technology of vacuum assisted resin infusion(VARI)was adopted to prepare the CBF composite plate,and the static mechanical properties was tested,and also the acoustic emission technology was adopted to monitor and analyze the different angle layer composite plate damage when the CBF composite plate was tensioning;The static and dynamic mechanical properties of CBF composite plate which made by moulded technology was tested,and the tension and compression rate-dependent properties of CBF composite plate under different strain rate were obtained,and also the acoustic emission technology was adopted to monitor and analyze the plate damage when the CBF composite plate was tensioning,the results show that the CBF composite plate possesses good acoustic emission signal characteristics in tension,and suitable for acoustic emission on-line monitor.3.Static and dynamic mechanical properties of sphere open cell aluminium foam were researched.Through compression test study the change influence of sphere open cell aluminium foam thickness H,lateral dimension L and sphere diameter D for its static compression performance,the results show that when thickness H is constant,the material compression yield strength tends to stabilize when L/D greater than 7;Based on the aluminium foam empirical constitutive relation,the sphere open cell aluminium foam empirical constitutive equation of different thickness and relative density is obtained,and it shows a very good applicability when compared with experimental results;The dynamic response under different strain rate of sphere open cell aluminium foam was studied by split Hopkinson pressure bar,the results show that aluminium foam obviously possesses a rate-depend property,but decrease with increase its thickness,due to thickness is smaller,the deformation of aluminium foam possesses holistic,and when thickness is larger,the deformation mode is compressed from its loaded part and compacted layer to layer.4.The impact property of CBF/aluminium foam/CBF composite plate was studied.The static and dynamic compression properties and deformation mode of CBF/aluminium foam/CBF composite plate with different aluminium foam core thickness was analyzed;The impact performance and destruction model of CBF composite plate and CBF/aluminium foam/CBF composite plate were studied,and monitoring point strain-time curves of CBF composite plate and CBF/aluminium foam/CBF composite plate under different bullet impact velocities were obtained,through analyzing different direction dynamic strain-time curve features of monitoring point to qualitative evaluate their anti-impact properties.5.The technology of vacuum subatmospheric pressure was adopted to prepare the CBF/ceramic/aluminium foam/CBF composite plate,and theoretical analysis and numerical simulation method were adopted to analyze the stress wave propagation characteristics in the composite plate,the results show that the composite plate mechanical parameters significantly attenuation which generated by stress waves;The low velocity impact performance of CBF/ceramic/aluminium foam/CBF composite plate with different thickness parameters were tested,the result shows that anti-impact performance will improved when the aluminium foam and ceramic thickness increase,and aluminium foam enhanced result is better.6.High speed impact device was adopted to test the impact properties of CBF/ceramic/aluminium foam/CBF composite plate with different thickness,the destruction model and damage mechanism of composite plate were analyzed,the results show that the bullet was seriously eroded,the ceramics showed cone damage,and the aluminium foam showed inverted cone deformation,the composite plate could take advantages of each layer material merits and possess good a property of anti-impact,and its anti-impact performance will improve better with the increasing of ceramic thickness;The method of numerical simulation was adopted to study the performance of composite plate at low speed and high speed impact,the composite plate failure process was studied,and also the composite plate influence to the bullet velocity and each layer anti-impact effect were analyzed.The research results provide the necessary experiments and theoretical foundation for the engineering application of CBF composite plate,sphere open-cell aluminium foam and their composite plate,and also possess reference value and instruction significance.
