Investigation The Model Of Healthy Breeding For Pigs In Karst Rocky Regions Of Guizhou Province

The healthy development of pig industry as one of important sources for meat consumption,which also as one of t important way for improving the standard of people's life,promoting the development of rural economy and farmer's income.The proportion of pig breeding and pork production in Guizhou province is lower compared with other provinces,and there was no advantage in total production,which is in the middle and lower level of the country.However,the landform of Guizhou is unique,it belongs to the karst landform and the subtropical zone enjoying a humid monsoon climate.The annual rainfall in this province is 1100 millimeters and the average annual temperature is 15?,and the relative humidity in the air was above 80%,which is benefit to the growth of bacterium and mould.It influences the health of pig and edible safety of porky.So that solving the problems of pig's health breeding is a critical issue and need solve quickly.In this study,we investigation the status quo of the development in Chinese and Guizhou pigs industry,analyzing the actual problems encountered in model of healthy breeding for pigs in karst mountainous.The effective way suitable for pig's health industry in Guizhou was also study.This paper is divided into four chapters and the the main research subjects and conclusions as follows:(1)The present situation of pig industry development in China and Guizhou province were analyzed in this study,and the problems and countermeasures of pig breeding in Guizhou province were also analyzed.(2)1188 samples were collected in 18 large-scale pig farms in 5 city of Guizhou province,including air,drinking water,waste water,stool,soil and so on.The pollutants in air,drinking water,waste water,stool,soil and environment were detected.The results show that the pollution by pathogenic bacteria were heavily exceed standards.The COD and BOD5 were also exceed standards in waste water.The mainly excessive content in the pollution of pig was phosphorus.The contents of NH3 and H2 S in air of colony house were under the levels of state provisions,which indicated that the pollutants in the air of most farms were not serious.(3)We also investigate the breeding modes of pig production in karst region of Guizhou province from three ways,including variety,inputs and disease.The mainly species of pigs in karst region were binary,three-dollar hybrid,followed by Xiang pig,Ke Le pig,radish pig,Baixi pig and Qianbeihei pig,which belong to pig species in Guizhou.In terms of inputs,the scale of farming in 100-500 or so farmers used more perfect compound feed and concentrated feed.Breeding scale in more than 500 farmers(field)used more concentrate feed and premix the mixed model production.In terms of veterinary drug,follow the instructions to use of veterinary drugs were 48.93%,of which 9.5% record in detail of 2497 farmers(field).Finally farmers lacked the awareness of safe use of veterinary drugs.In terms of prevention and control of pig disease in 13 counties from 2015,immune percent of pass in O foot and mouth disease,blue-ear disease,swine fever were 4.49%(946/1270),64.65%(821/1270),59.36%(558/940)respectively.It indicated that the percent of pass on O foot and mouth disease,blue-ear disease,swine fever immune were lower.So we should strictly abide the state policy of prevention of animal epidemics and pay attention to the piggery health,strengthen management to effectively prevent and control of animal epidemics and popular.(4)Nowadays,there were five models for pig-breeding in Guizhou province,like as free-ranging,small-scale,mid-scale,large-scale and model of combination of farming and animal husbandry.All of this models with its advantages and disadvantages.In this study,the economic benefit of this five models for pig-breeding were analyzed and evaluated completely from feed cost,labor costs,costs of water and electricity,and retained profits.The result indicated that the combination of farming and animal husbandry from model of combination of farming and animal husbandry was higher than others,which also with obvious ecological benefits,and more suitable for Guizhou karst mountain pig industry sustainable development.
