In our study, the R523X mutation of FAM83H gene was found in many AI-affected family in Asian races and may be a hot mutation spot. Our study provides the evidences that FAM83H could influence enamel biomineralization and dentine formation.On the basis of the above experiment, using gene cloning and gene targeting technology, we had constructed the mouse FAM20A gene knockout vector, to construct the knockout experiment foundation of disease model mouse FAM20A gene, so as to further understand the expression, regulation and function of FAM20A protein and clinicopathological significance, in order to understand the FAM20A protein in tooth development process. Especially provides strong evidence in the process of growth and development of the role of enamel.
