Background: Mosquito-borne diseases are an increasing cause of death and suffering in almost all tropical and subtropical countries. They are responsible for the transmission of the pathogens causing some of the most life-threatening and debilitating diseases of man like malaria, lymph node filariasis, dengue fever, yellow fever,Japanese encephalitis and others.Aedes aegypti it has been recognized as the primary vector for Dengue virus(DENV),one of the major public health problems in the world.DENV is an increasing global health threat and associated with induction of both a long-lived protective immune response and immunesuppression. However, the potency of treatment of dengue via antiviral drugs is still under investigation.Systems biology has been emerged as an exciting and rapidly growing area of research.Especially, micro RNAs(mi RNAs)can react as a regulated for gene expression and different diseases pathway. So far, little is known the distinguished functions for mi RNAs have been discovered in numerous dengue fever disease,mi RNAs being considered the novel therapeutic targets it has the therapeutic capability to manipulate mi RNA expression and functions through mi RNAs inhibitors in patients of dengue fever. We focused on the characterization of mi RNAs role regarding to dengue fever, discussing the available opportunities and complications related with this new therapeutic modality.Recently, increasing evidences suggest the potential role of mi RNAs in regulating DENV.We focus on the function of mi RNAs in innate insusceptible reactions and organization of various types of immune cells and inflammatory responses for DENV have been tested post treatment with three drugs, including an anti-viral herbal medicine Re Du Ning(RDN),Loratadine(LRD)and Acetaminophen. Results: By microarray expression of mi RNAs in 165 Patients,we found that 89 active mi RNAs interact with 499 potential target genes, during antiviral treatment throughout the critical stage of DENV.Interestingly, reducing the threats of the illness in combined RDN with LRD medicine better than Acetaminophen treatment alone.Either the inhibitions of DENV was confirmed by decrease concentrations of cytokines and interleukin parameters after treatment and some anticoagulants factors increased. Conclusions: This study shows a preliminary support to suggest that RDN combined with LRD medicine can reduce the susceptibility and the severity of DENV.
