William-Faulkner is a representative of the southern American writers in the twentieth Century in the United States of America.His literary had a profound influence on American literature and even the world literature.Faulkner's works reflected distinctive ethics views.This study use “The Sound and the Fury”,”As I Lay Dying” and “Light in August” as examples to research the generating,performance and influence of ethical orientation on the later literary.There are three parts in the study:The first part mainly study on the south religion culture and Faulkner's personal growth environment,the south religion culture and the spiritual world of Faulkner,and the influence of South American religion culture on Faulkner.It can be seen from this part that the literary works created by the writers of a great man are closely related to the environment they grow up.It can be found that literary created by the writers was closely related to the environment he grow up.Faulkner grew up in the Southern Bible belt of United States and this area was deeply influenced by the Bible culture,whether the Character or other aspects are deeply marked by the "Bible belt" brand.Therefore,it is not surprising that the Bible is found in the literary.In the further analysis,it shows that many of Faulkner's works contain a number of characters related to Bible stories or content,which makes the literary of Faulkner more lively and full.Faulkner was grew up in the harsh Christian environment,so the Christian factors also become an important aspect.The second part expounds the ethics concept in Faulkner's literary.These concepts are mainly embodied in the family,politics,society,life and death,narrative and so on.As it was influenced by the specific political environment,Faulkner put some political factors into his novels,which made his literary works more political.Meanwhile,he describe a disordered family relationship in his novel.Faulkner also make the family relationship combine with the life and death concept together.This part starts with Faulkner's masterpiece of “the sound and the fury" to analyze tragedy of the main characters.It also combined with the family environment of Kang Pusheng's family to research the reason of tragedy.The third part mainly expounds the influence of Faulkner's ethical orientation on the later literary works.This study started from the differences between eastern and western cultures,and focused on comparison of ethical concept between Faulkner and Chinese writers named Mo Yan who was awarded Nobel Prize for literature.While it also expounded the influence of Faulkner's literary works on Latin American literature,such as the representative writer named Marcks.In fact,Faulkner's literary works not only bring profound influence on the native later young writers but also other countries.Faulkner as the representative of modernism in the southern part of the United States devoted his whole life to the literature.in his literary works,you can not only found "stream of consciousness" in such a unique way of writing,but also a combination shadow of traditional and modern.There is no doubt that he is a brave writers to,but alsoregardless of the choice of the theme of the literary works,or innovation of novel forms and artistic skill level of the whole nation and the world of the future generations of writers has extremely profound influence.There is no doubt that he is a courage to explore the pursuit of progressive writers,whether it is the choice of the theme of literary works,or his novel form and art skills at the level of innovation in the United States and the world's future writers have a very far-reaching Impact.
