Due to the one-sided pursuit of economic development level, the contradiction between economic development and the environmental protection in ecologically fragile areas in China is more and more acute. The development of ecologically fragile regions is facing major problems such as environmental degradation and ecological degradation. This paper thinks that one of the main cause of these problems is that the development mode of tourism in these regions is not reasonable and not perfect enough. Especially, the community status in ecologically fragile regions is not valued, which makes the role of community in tourism sustainable development not fully reflected. The eighteenth people's congress clearly puts forward to promote the building of ecological civilization and thinks that the construction of ecological civilization is national long-term strategy in the future concerned on the people's welfare and the future of the nation. Based on the analysis of the resources endowment of ecologically fragile regions and from the angle of community participation in tourism development in ecologically fragile regions, this paper emphatically analyzed the various domestic and foreign community participation models and developed ecological courtyards patterns into the community participation patterns. Firstly, this part narrated research background on the thesis and the research significance on theory and practice. Secondly, this part introduced the research object and main content of this article, in the same time, research methods and technical route. Finally, this part introduced the main concepts and related theory and related research status both at home and abroad involved in the paper. The second part consists of chapter 3 and chapter 4 and chapter 5, which belongs to the theoretical research part of the paper.
