Study On Contemporary Chinese National Confidence

National confidence is the major spiritual strength that supports a nation to move forward.With strong characteristics of nation and times,the formation and development of national confidence follows the objective universal laws.As for contemporary China,not only is national confidence our strong force to maintain the direction of development,but also our motive power to forge ahead persistently,as well as the main ideological and psychological basis for realizing great rejuvenation of Chinese nation and socialist modernization.The ideological and practical significance comes from realizing the inner pattern,mastering the connotation,coping with the challenges and exploring the construction path of the national confidence of contemporary China.Based on the perspective of political education,this study focuses on the theoretical analysis and practical construction of the national confidence of contemporary China,with application of world view and methodology of Marxist.We studied systematically on Chinese national confidence with discussion on several topics,such as theoretical evidences,historical experience,implications and connotations,actual challenges,construction pathway,etc.,from the aspects of history and reality,nation and the world,social existence and social consciousness,economic basis and superstructure.Theoretical and practical self-discipline of contemporary Chinese national confidence construction is reflected,with profound interpretation of inner nature,mechanism of generation,basic rules,characteristics and practical motivation.First of all,this study starts with the definition of nation and national confidence,categorizing national confidence as part of cultural superstructure,regarding it as an ideology system constructed by ideal,faith,and belief.It points out that the essence of contemporary Chinese national confidence is the conviction to realize the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation by insisting and developing Chinese characteristic socialism,under the direction of the Chinese Communist Party.The national confidence of contemporary China is the ideological achievement and theoretical product of the combination of Marxism and Chinese traditional culture,developed from the contradictory movement of productive forces and production relationships,the criticism of history and realistic society,and the practice of construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics,with the methodological basis of historical materialism,dialectics,and practice theory.Secondly,by systematically summarizing the history of contemporary Chinese national confidence,we reviewed the glorious pathway of struggling and rejuvenation of modern times,reforming the picture of the birth,development and evolution of contemporary Chinese national confidence.It confirms that contemporary Chinese national confidence is both scientifically legitimate and reasonable on value,with a practical attitude of persisting on the truth and vitality that keeps up with the times.We summed up the experience from the long-term exploration of the leadership,independence,economic reform,and peaceful development of the Party,recurring the leap from free of will to self-consciousness.Contemporary Chinese national confidence is born to the unique history and experience of Chinese culture.It has the unfading cultural life and special way of expression,showing the harmony and unity of both universality and particularity,historical logic and ideological logic.Thirdly,this study analyzed the meaning of contemporary Chinese national confidence,regarding ideal confidence as the leading direction,constructing a unified ideal system of communism,Chinese characteristic socialism,and the realization of the great rejuvenation of Chinese culture.The essence of contemporary Chinese national confidence is road confidence,theoretical confidence,system confidence,and cultural confidence,interpreting the nature and characteristic of Chinese characteristic socialism.As the main force of contemporary Chinese national confidence,the confidence on the Party,on the people and on the youth shows the optimistic future of realizing the great rejuvenation of Chinese culture under the leadership of the Party.It demonstrates the persistence and strong faith of Chinese people,reflecting the contradiction and era tension of social ideal and social reality,with the thinking mode and practice laws of Chinese culture from reality to ideal.Fourthly,it points out that contemporary Chinese national confidence is an open changing system,facing the challenges from all aspects.From the angle of social reality,there are innovations of the international society on the outside,such as economic globalization,multi-polarization,cultural pluralism and political democratization.On the inside,we have sharp trans conformation of economic society,from agriculture society to industrial society,from closed society to open society,from traditional society to modern society,etc.The social foundation that contemporary Chinese national confidence depends on is undergoing unpredictable changes at all times.From the angle of ideology and culture,the contradiction among neoliberalism,democratic socialism,historical nihilism,and nationalism,is directly depleting contemporary Chinese national confidence.To confirm the confidence of sticking to Chinese characteristic socialism construction in this complicated situation,China has to face the problem with high sense of urgency,realize the environmental problem and domestic problem that we are confronted with during the process of development,and distinguish the outward manifestation,inner essence and final purpose of all international criticisms and social ethos.Last but not the least,contemporary Chinese national confidence is not only the objective result of development of history,but also depends on the ideological and practical consciousness of Chinese nation.Development is the top priority.The material foundation of contemporary Chinese national confidence shall be tamped through deepening the economic reform.To strengthen our belief,we shall enrich ourselves with Marxism and its Chinese applications,use scientific theories to understand history and to understand the current situation of China,constructing consensus on contemporary Chinese national confidence.Under the leadership of Chinese Communist Party,the people shall unite and promote the construction of Chinese characteristic socialism.In order to stand in the world more confidently,China has to participate in the global governance,acquire more initiative and discourse,fully present historical accountability and international image of a responsible country.
