solely focus on 'Resist U.S.Aggression to Aid North Korea' in traditional sense,it involved investigations into multiple areas of social life such as military, politics, economics, ideology and public health. It focused on the region of Shanxi province at present(including the region of Shanxi and some part of Chahar and Suiyuan province at that time). This dissertation is based on perspectives of international situation right after the outbreak of the war.In particular,it describes the situation in Shanxi province in terms of politics, economics, and ideology.Additionally,it expounds the policies issued by the central government and the implementation in Shanxi province. This is the beginning of the domestic political mobilization.Chapter two explores the military mobilization in the directly served the need of the frontline. It provided manpower, material and logistics supports for the frontline, which raised the morale of frontline soldiers.Chapter three depicts the eliminate people's identification to the `new society'.Chapter five inspects the social mobilization. The rumor of biological warfare in Korean battlefield resulted in large-scale anti-biological warfare campaign and Patriotic Health Campaign. This campaign not only promoted the modernization of hygiene habits and concepts, but more importantly, the party and state achieved organized mobilization of the mobilization eliminated the influence of western countries led by the USA.It diminished the 'pro-America','admire America' and'fear America' mind among the people, and cultivated the patriotism and
