The Research On The "Freedom" In The Socialist Core Values

Freedom was established as one of the important contents of the Socialist Core Values,which shows that the Chinese people's pursuit of freedom to a new height.At the same time,because of the complexity of its definition,the universality of the content and the multi-faceted nature of the people,freedom is often confusing to the people.In the light of present situation,there is still in largely ingrained prejudice,which including the origination of freedom is western tradition but Chinese tradition without freedom,and only capitalist speaks about freedom,socialist not etc..At the same time,in the era of value diversification,all kinds of social thoughts and a variety of values are still flooding of Chinese society,which has great influence on the values of contemporary Chinese people.In terms of freedom values,the western countries actively sell the so-called "freedom" of the so-called universal values through the globalization of Neo-liberal ideology,and challenge the freedom in the socialist values.If there is a serious deviation,it may bring a lot of social problems.These prejudices and misleading have a negative effect on people's recognizing,understanding and pursuing to freedom,especially freedom as the core values of socialism.Hence,freedom in the Socialist Core Values is leading the people to know,to understand and even to pursue the freedom,which is the major task of Ideological and political education,also is an urgent requirement of the development of contemporary China.However,there are several questions about freedom which is one of the Socialist Core Values--what is it,where it comes from and where it goes to,what is the significance of it and how to extend it in the concrete practice.This thesis is based on above questions exactly,tries to clarify historical logic and practical logic of the freedom in the Socialist Core Values,to straighten out the sequence of its events,to explain its essence,and to guide people to pursuit of freedom in a positive and correct values of freedom.This thesis is divided into five parts,separately from the historical inheritance,succession,criticism,main meaning and essence,and the practical path these five aspects of freedom of Socialist Core Values with systematically conducting in-depth analysis,interpretation and demonstration.The first part is to explore the historical origin of the "freedom" in the Socialist Core Values.This part aims to clarify Chinese has the tradition spiritual of pursuing to freedom since the ancient times.It is the traditional spirit that Chinese civilization makes the life and growth in nature,for thousands of years and has never been interrupted,and "freedom" in Socialist Core Values is one of the heritage in the traditional spirit.First of all,this part explores the free spirit in the traditional culture from the ancient freedom song,Confucianism three mainstream traditional culture and etymology these three aspects;secondly,this part expounds modern China active seek for freedom,especially the modern China advanced intellectuals and the group of scholars theoretically debate and practically explore for economic freedom,political freedom,and culture freedom,and draw lessons from theory and practice in their seeking exploring.The second part is to describe the succession of the "freedom" in the Socialist Core Values.The purpose of this part is that the freedom as the Socialist Core Values is the freedom of socialism,Marxism rather than any other doctrines and it is the inheritance and development from Marx's pursuit of the value of freedom.First of all,this part is based on three basic questions:whose freedom,what of freedom and how to achieve freedom,explaining the basic connotation of freedom as the pursuit of the highest value of Marxism.Then,from the historical and logical perspective,demonstrates Marx's pursuit of value is how to embody in the China revolution and construction,and how the freedom as the Socialist Core Values come down in one continuous line through the elaboration of Chinese Marx theory achievements:Mao Zedong thought and the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese inheritance and development of Marx's freedom.The third part is to discuss the criticism and reference on the value of western liberalism to the "freedom" in Socialist Core Values.The purpose of this part is to discuss the freedom in the Socialist Core Values which is from the criticism of the value of western liberalism,but also from the results of the development of human civilization and the absorption and reference.First this part elaborates the origin of western liberal concept and the origin and development of western liberalism,further revealing and criticizing the limitations of the meaning on the "freedom" of western liberalism and the conflict with other values.At the same time,also from the "Human Development Report",this part investigates and expounds the freedom as the pursuit of human common value during the Human overall development process,and the"freedom" in Socialist Core Values can gain the thinking resources from that.The fourth part reveals the basic connotation and essential attribute of the"freedom" in the Socialist Core Values.The "freedom" in the Socialist Core Values is a concrete and realistic one in its essence,so it is deeply rooted in the reality and serves the development of reality.In the horizon of the whole development,this kind of freedom is also an integral concept,which is the organic composition of economy,politic,culture,ethics and so on,is the dialectical unity of the purpose and the instrumental value,and is the dialectical unity of freedom right,feasible ability and development responsibility.Meanwhile,the "freedom" in the Socialist Core Values,as a kind of more advanced and better values,it completes the transcendence of the freedom in Chinese traditional culture,is the unity of moral freedom and legal freedom;also of the freedom of western liberalism,is the unity of formal freedom and practical freedom.The fifth part discusses the practical path of the "freedom" in the Socialist Core Values from four aspects.Firstly,the free practice of Socialist Core Values must be based on the development of contemporary China,freedom must be prominent position in the development,through the real actions of the development to expand the freedom of every man;Secondly,through the comprehensive deepening reform in the fields of economy,politics,society and culture,the development and perfection of Chinese socialist system,promote modernization of national governance systems and governance capacity,and remove institutional barriers,the establish security system for everyone to enjoy of equal freedom rights;Thirdly,through the "freedom" in the Socialist Core Values into the whole process of national education,through the full conservation of Chinese traditional culture and the innovation of the "freedom" in the Socialist Core Values and means of communication style then,to make people as the"freedom" in Socialist Core Values is deeper and more positive Correct understanding,make it popular,everyone becomes a conscious pursuit of value;Finally,the practice of the "freedom" in the Socialist Core Values must also stand in the international level,based on the common destiny of mankind,we shouid "telling Chinese stories","spread the China voice",take "Chinese Road",put up with "China wisdom" and use the "Chinese power",external communication work of the "freedom" in Socialist Core Values,strengthen the self-confidence consciousness of the "freedom" in Socialist Core Values,which can establish Chinese
