A Study Of The Political Stability Of Contemporary Saudi Arabia From The Perspective Of Adjustment Of System And Policy

Stability is the tireless pursuit of mankind,of which political stability is the core of social stability of human being.Political stability is not only a major practical issue that all countries pay attention to at present,but also the core theoretical research topic of political science,especially of the continuous exploration of development politics.As a post-developing national concentration area,the political stability in the Middle East countries not only plagues the economic and social development of all countries in the Middle East,but also threatens the peaceful development of the Middle East.However,Saudi Arabia has maintained its political stability for a long time and is called "the anchor of the stability in the Middle East",which is the reason why the topic of this article is selected.This paper tries to use the research tools of political system theory,two-way interactive perspective of state and society,systematic analysis,historical analysis in order to study the ways and measures for Saudi Arabia to build political stability.Many scholars believe that the key to maintaining political stability in Saudi Arabia lies in Saudi Arabia's rich oil resources,Islam,Saudi Arabia's special relations with United States.After studying,this paper argues that the key to maintaining political stability in Saudi Arabia is not Saudi Arabia's rich petroleum resources,Islam in Wahhabi,special relations with other countries etc.Instead,it is because of actively building its own ways and measures for political stability based on its national conditions,which is also the main innovation of this article.Apart from introduction and conclusion in this article,there are six parts in the text.The first chapter,core concepts and theoretical assumptions,first defines the concept,performance and characteristics of political stability,then puts forward the hypothesis of building political stability,and again analyzes the applicability of theoretical hypothesis to the study of Saudi political stability.The second chapter,summarizes the influence of the Saudi system's imperfect system on political stability,analyzes Saudi Arabia's measures to promote political institutionalization,includingthe establishment and improvement of Council of Ministers,the system of succession to throne,the official religious system,the Shura council,and assess the influence of construction of political system on the political stability of Saudi Arabia.The third chapter first analyzes the differentiation and reorganization of the political elite group,then summarizes the political absorption measures of Saudi Arabia to the royal members,the religious elite group,the merchant group and the middle class,and again appraise the influence of the political absorption measures on the political stability of the Saudi government.The fourth chapter introduces the general situation of diversification of social ideological trend in Saudi Arabia,summarizes Saudi Arabia's efforts to shape and promote the mainstream ideology,and evaluates Saudi Arabia's significance of controlling the mainstream ideology on political stability.The fifth chapter summarizes the economic and social problems facing Saudi Arabia,analyzes the measures of Saudi Arabia to develop national economy and solve social problems,and evaluates the influence of Saudi Arabia on enhancing the political and social stability of Saudi Arabia.The sixth chapter analyzes the challenges and problems faced by Saudi Arabia in the process of building political stability.Saudi's efforts to build its own political stability,including construction of political system,politics absorption,ideology control and improving economic and social performance,have generally maintained its political stability.However,the Saudi political system can not meet the needs of the state.Uncertainty of the succession of the king,increase in threat of extremism and increasingly prominent dilemma faced by Saudi Arabia's economic and social development,are problems that Saudi Arabia must solve in the process of building political stability.Saudi Arabia must innovate measures for building its political stability in order to maintain political stability for a long period of time in the years ahead.
