The Study On The Value Ecology Of Contemporary College Students Under The Horizon Of Socialist Core Values

College students are the future of the state and the hope of the nation. They are the fresh forces for the social development and nation building. It is therefore an important task and historical mission for ideological and political education in higher education to guide students to accept and practice the socialist core values consciously.It is an extremely complex, yet urgent question of ecological view of values in the perspective of core socialist values. On the one hand, the propose of the core socialist values not only puts forward the direct basis and aim to cultivate common values for all Chinese citizens, but also provides a perspective and the measure of values for the contemporary college students' cultivation. But on the other hand, most of the previous study on the orientation of values in college students focus on the cognitive level narrowly, and lack of an ultimate evaluation system of values, which make the research lack of clear aim and effectiveness. It is a prosperous research field to re-examine the thoughts and various value patterns of contemporary college students, and we could explore the historical reason of the its formation, the intricate mechanism and the social being and dialectical contradiction movement to study the value of contemporary college students in the view of ecological system.This dissertation focuses on the following three aspects deeply:one is to clarify the theory of values. Secondly, It is important to analyze the formation and mechanism of college students' value patterns from the ecological view of values. Thirdly, we try to raise some suggestions and schemes to cultivate and practice the core socialist values among college students. Based on the standpoint of Marxism, the aim of the dissertation is to study the contemporary college students' patterns of values, including its evolution, evaluation and construction based on the standpoint of Marxism according to the method of logical analysis, and to clarify the important concept, proposition and pursuit. We are trying to explore the essences of the core socialist value, and to evaluate the ecological value constructively in the light of the psychological table by the qualitative and quantitative research methods in the full theoretical analysis.In the theoretical level, this dissertation is trying to combine the "principle"(Li) and "things"(Shi), the Chinese dream and the individual dream, the abstract and general concept of core socialist values and everyone's pursuit of values in the perspective of ecological concern of contemporary college students' value patterns, and in the view of the core socialist values. On the basis of this, the aim of this dissertation is to establish an evaluation index system of ecological measure for contemporary college students' values in the perspective of core socialist vales. The idea of this index system illustrates the overlap of the dimension of values and the dimension of practices. The content of the dimension of values includes the core values in the three levels:state, society and individual. The content of the dimension of practices comprise Studious(Qinxue), virtue(Xiude), discernment(Minbian), probity(Dushi) which president Xi advocated to all of the youth. So, after the combination of all elements of those two contents, we got an index system with three vertical and four horizontal and constructed an operative platform with theoretical and practical traits. A total of 3799 college students in 7 universities and colleges covered 985,211 and ordinary levels were selected randomly to perform the statistical analysis. Combined with the index system and the platform built above, the study pays attention to the interaction, fusion, identity and practice of core socialist values of those special group, which is trying to understand and grasp the cognition and acceptance of the core socialist vales of contemporary college students in a multidimensional, developmental and dynamic way. The study will put forward the basic method and path to cultivate and practice the core socialist values for contemporary college students based on the analysis of theoretical and empirical research finally.
