Research On The Influence Mechanism Of Network Embeddedness On Knowledge Spillover From Cluster Core Firms

With the intensified process of globalization,more and more cluster which is lead by core firms’ spring up,develop and grow around the world,and become the main pillar of regional economic development.The development of cluster is focusing on cluster core firms.Knowledge spillover is the important way of cluster firms to acquire knowledge,and the main reason why the cluster forming.The knowledge spillover from cluster core firms involves cluster innovation dynamic and core competence in essence.It is the driving force for the development of cluster.Frequent interaction between the actors in cluster cause a wealth of socio-economic relationships network,which makes that the economic activities of cluster are carried out in this network environment,and from influenced by network embeddedness.Researching on the influence mechanism of network embeddedness on knowledge spillover of cluster core firms,taking advantage of network embeddedness to promote knowledge spillover in cluster,are of crucial great strategic significance for promoting the cluster’s innovation ability and upgrading.This dissertation defines the basic category and the logical framework.Based on analyzing existing research results,this dissertation shows the premise and object by defining the connotation and approach of knowledge spillover from cluster core firms.This dissertation builds the analytical framework of the influence mechanism of network embeddedness on knowledge spillover from cluster core firms by combining two parts,that existing results of the connotation and classification of network embeddedness,and the network embeddedness four aspects feature of knowledge spillover from cluster core firms which are relational,structural,spatial and cultural embeddedness.This dissertation researches the influence mechanism of relational embeddedness on knowledge spillover from cluster core firms.It is considered that the main attributes of relational embeddedness are shared mental and internal control mechanism.After the further analysis,this dissertation builds the model of the influence mechanism of relational embeddedness on knowledge spillover from cluster core firms,and puts forward relevant theoretical hypothesis.This dissertation uses SEM and regression analysis to empirically demonstrate relationships among internal control mechanisms,shared mental model,knowledge activity and knowledge spillover.This dissertation researches the influence mechanism of structural embeddedness on knowledge spillover from cluster core firms.After analysis of the main attributes of structural embeddedness,this dissertation analyzes the influence mechanism of relational-structural embeddedness on knowledge spillover from cluster core firms by the analytical framework of network embeddeness analyzing,and builds hypothesis.By building the regression model,this dissertation uses the OLS for regression analysis to test hypothesis,and dose positive analysis by shipbuilding industry.This dissertation researches the influence mechanism of spatial embeddedness on knowledge spillover from cluster core firms.It is considered that knowledge spillover from cluster core firms is catastrophic.Meanwhile,the dissertation analyses the characteristics of knowledge spillovers mutations from the perspective of catastrophe theory,and uses the method of substitution to transform the system dynamic equations referenced on the catastrophe theory,then sets up the cusp catastrophe model for state of knowledge spillover from cluster core firms,and illustrates knowledge spillovers features in knowledge application process.This dissertation makes an empirical research by using the panel data of 31 provincial-level administrative region of China.By distinguishing the knowledge spillover state and change and the development trend taking each province as a whole,this dissertation proves that spatial embeddedness on knowledge spillover from cluster core firms is existing.Finally,this dissertation corrects the relational-structural embeddedness in consideration of spatial embeddedness,and makes the suggestions to select the patterns of knowledge spillover from cluster core firms based on spatial embeddedness.This dissertation researches the influence mechanism of cultural embeddedness on knowledge spillover from cluster core firms.After analysis of the main attributes of cultural embeddedness,this dissertation discusses the influence mechanism of cultural embeddedness on knowledge spillover from cluster core firms from four aspects:the cultural embeddedness impact on knowledge spillover occurrence and process from cluster core firms,cultural traits with different inclination and cultural embeddedness overly impact on knowledge spillover from cluster core firms.At last,the rate of change of patent cooperation’s number is taken as motivational factors to increase differences.A model to dynamic evaluation of patent cooperation ability of cluster core firms with culture embeddness perturbation is built by analyzing the relevance between the number of patent cooperation and the rate of change of cultural embeddedness.Also,this dissertation makes an empirical analysis to evaluate the knowledge spillover ability of marine equipment clusters.At last,this dissertation provides policies for core firms to use network embeddedness to control knowledge spillover.The innovations of the paper lies in:①This dissertation builds the analytical framework of the influence mechanism of network embeddedness on
