The in real-time capture of polarization information of light can not only enrich the way of information acquisition,but also has significant application prospects in the fields of remote sensing,national defense,chemical production,medical detection and image monitoring.As a device capable of capturing the amplitude and polarization information of light in real time,the Pixelated-Polarization-Camera is a hot spot in international research in recent years.Our group takes the lead in the development of Pixelated-Polarization-Camera based on metal nano-grating in China,and has prepared a Pixelated-Polarization-Camera with an array size of 640 X 480 and a extinction ratio of about 8.On this basis,in order to further improve the performance of Pixelated-Polarization-Camera and expand its application scope,our group immediately carried out the preparation and optimization of micro-polarizer arrays based on metal nano-gratings,research and optimization of Pixelated-Polarization-Camera integration process and the related applications research,this dissertation mainly includes the following aspects:1.In order to further explore the influence of etching parameters on the performance of the metal nano-gratings,and optimize the parameters to prepare high-performance nano-gratings,a set of metal nano-grating array samples with different periods(100nm,120nm,140nm)and thickness(100nm,120nm,140nm,160nm)were fabricated.At the same time,the effects of different grating tilt angle and electron beam dose on the performance of metal nano-grating array were investigated.The extinction ratio values of metal nano-grating arrays with different etching parameters were measured on the constructed micro-platform,and the average value was counted.Analysis the change rule of the extinction ratio:the smaller the period and the greater the thickness of the metal nano-grating,the higher the extinction ratio.The extinction ratio is significantly increased when the grating tilt angle etched by the electron beam is large;and the variation has no significant effect on the performance of the metal nano-grating array when the electron beam dose exceeds 260?c/cm2.The Pixelated-Polarization-Camera is manufactured by accurately aligning and bonding the polarization unit of the metal nano-grating to the camera pixel unit.Therefore,the performance of the Pixelated-Polarization-Camera depends not only on the etching parameters of the metal nano-grating array,but also on the integrated process of the Pixelated-Polarization-Camera.The previous integrated process of our group-unpacking,dispensing,manual alignment and curing packaging-has a time-consuming process,low success rate and low performance of the packaged Pixelated-Polarization-Camera.Aiming at the urgent need for the higher performance Pixelated-Polarization-Camera,a real-time alignment and packaging system for Pixelated-Polarization-Camera based on a six-axis micro-displacement platform has been developed,and a complete and efficient real-time alignment and packaging process was gradually developed in a number of packages.Twelve Pixelated-Polarization-Camera was integrated,including custom integrated five cameras for other scientific research institution.The highest performance is the average extinction ratio of 66 and the pixel array 1000×1000.The optimized package and integration process greatly improve the package success rate and camera performance,while reducing the difficulty and time consuming of the package and integration.2.Image enhancement and image dehazing based on the integrated high-performance Pixelated-Polarization-Camera was carried out.The images of the outdoor vehicles and buildings in the nighttime(shimmer)environment were collected.The extracted linear polarization angle and linear polarization degree image can obviously obtain the detailed information that cannot be found in the intensity image.The city scene was taken based on the Pixelated-Polarization-Camera in the smoggy weather,and the image was dehazed based on the physical model of atmospheric scattering.Experiments confirmed that the details of the scene can be presented from the haze cover.3.Polarization information not only has application value in macroscopic object imaging,but also has application prospects in information transmission of microscopic molecular.Based on the fact that the polarization plane of the linearly polarized light was rotated as it travels through the chiral molecule,our group first applied the Pixelated-Polarization-Camera to the optical rotation measurement.On the single-wavelength optical rotation measurement,a wide real-time optical rotation measurement system based on Pixelated-Polarization-Camera was constructed.Experiments demonstrate that the proposed system has the necessary advantages for optical rotation measurement,such as real time,wide range(-90 ° to +90 °),high accuracy(1×10-4 °)and high resolution(±6×10-6°).Thus,this measurement system has great practical prospects in the hospital clinical diagnosis,chemical research,sugar production and pharmaceutical industry.In the field of optical rotatory dispersion measurement,based on the successful experience of the single-wavelength optical rotation measurement,a real-time optical rotatory dispersion measurement system based on Pixelated-Polarization-Camera was set up.In continuous and wide-spectrum range(416nm?460nm),real-time optical rotatory dispersion measurement was implemented by dispersing white light and focusing the discrete light on different pixel positions of the Pixelated-Polarization-Camera.By measuring the Quartz Control Plate,the accuracy of the measurement system in different wavebands is proved to be:2.6×10-2°?3.2×10-3°(416nm?460nm),3.2×10-3°?4.1×10-2°(460nm?843nm),and the resolution is:1.9×10-2°?4.2×10-3°(416nm?560nm),4.2×10-3°(560nm?843nm).At the same time,the system measured the optical rotatory dispersion of the mixed solution of glucose and Vitamin C,which is than fitted by the known specific rotatory dispersion of the two simple substances,so that the concentration of glucose and Vitamin C in the mixed solution could be obtained conveniently and quickly.Besides,combined with the optical rotatory dispersion theory of chiral molecules,the real-time optical rotatory dispersion measurement system based on pixelated-polarization-camera can verify the spatial configuration of chiral molecules by measuring the actual optical rotatory dispersion.The measurement system and method would have a vast application prospect in drug detection,chemical research,etc.
