Fiber laser phased array technology is a kind of phased array technology located in the optical band,similar to microwave radar phased array technology system,mainly used in military fields such as detection,communication and confrontation.Compared with traditional single-beam lidar,fiber laser phased array system provides a new laser detection technology system to alleviate the contradiction between detection distance and search airspace.Compared with microwave radar phased array,it can obtain higher spatial resolution and temporal resolution for multiple targets.At the same time,because the laser operating wavelength(micron level)is several orders of magnitude shorter than the microwave operating wavelength(millimeter to meter level),it faces technical challenges such as phased array grating lobe suppression and scanning angle expansion.This paper mainly focuses on the basic technology,key technology and system integration technology of detection type fiber laser phased array,and carries out the following six aspects of research,namely,the basic theory of fiber laser phased array,the overall technology of fiber laser phased array,the method of fiber laser phased array grating lobe suppression,the technology of fiber laser phased array system,the establishment of fiber laser phased array experimental system and the research of fiber laser phased array application technology.Through an overview of fiber laser phased array technology,this paper discusses the research background of this project,the main technical characteristics of fiber laser phased array and the importance of research.The development history and current situation of foreign laser phased array technology are collected and practiced.The principle of phase modulator and classification of phase control algorithm are introduced.The main technical challenges and application difficulties faced by the development of fiber laser phased array technology are also proposed.Through the research on the basic theory of fiber laser phased array,starting from combing the basic theory involved in the near-field spot distribution of fiber laser phased array,the far-field beam transmission characteristics of fiber laser phased array are discussed,the comprehensive comparison of the main technical parameters between fiber laser phased array and microwave phased array is carried out,the main differences between the two are analyzed,and the main technical problems to be faced in the development of laser phased array are put forward.Through the research on the key technologies of fiber laser phased array,the key breakthrough is the technical approach to suppress the influence of fiber laser phased array grating lobes.To carry out key technology research and suppression effect simulation of array elements with unequal interval in one-dimensional and twodimensional fiber laser phased arrays;A grating lobe suppression design scheme based on genetic algorithm is proposed.Through the research of fiber laser phased array system technology,the experimental system design,key component development and experimental system establishment are completed around the establishment of fiber laser detection phased array experimental system.Research and propose internal and external field testing and testing methods of technical parameters;The focus is on verifying the energy concentration and angle scanning capability of the phased array.Through the exploration and research on the application technology of fiber laser phased array,it is proposed that probe and communication fiber laser phased arrays are typical application directions.Design the overall framework of the system and the principle verification experimental device;The similarities and differences of technical characteristics between fiber laser phased array system and near non-diffracting Airy beam are compared and analyzed to deepen the understanding of the essential characteristics of laser phased array.Finally,the research contents and main experimental results are summarized.This paper is innovative in the comparative study of the technical systems of fiber laser phased array and microwave phased array transmitting antennas,the application of genetic algorithm to the optimal layout of fiber laser phased array to improve the grating lobe suppression effect,the expansion of the combination of laser communication and fiber laser phased array,and the correlation comparison research with near non-diffracting beams.The author of this paper aims to make a modest contribution to the independent development of fiber laser phased array technology and application in China through joint efforts with teachers and research teams.
