Mycenaceae Overeem is an important member of Agaricales, which has more than 700 species in the world, with a wide geographical distribution. It has the ecological function of decomposing dead branches and leaves, and some of them have food or medicinal value.Based on the previous studies of Panellus and Mycena by our research team, supported by the National Natural Science Foundation project,we continue to collect a wide range of specimens nationwide and take Cruentomycena,Favolaschia,Hemimycena,Resinomycena,Roridomyces and Xeromphalina as the main research objects. We conduct morphological and phylogenetic studies on Mycenaceae in order to have a better understanding on species diversity and phylogenetic relationship of Agaricales. For taxonomic studies,a total of 440 specimens were examined, including 367 specimens collected in 19 provinces and autonomous regions by our research team and 73 specimens borrowed from herbaria at home and abroad. And 40 taxa of Mycenaceae were identified including 2 species which belong to Cruentomycena,4 species which belong to Favolaschia,19 species which belong to Hemimycena,3 species which belong to Resinomycena,6 species which belong to Roridomyces and 6 species which belong to Xeromphalina.Among them,Cruentomycena allochra T.Bau & L.N.Liu,Hemimycena subangustispora T.Bau & L.N.Liu,Rsinomycena capitulis T.Bau & L.N.Liu,R.ellipsoidea T.Bau & L.N.Liu,Xeromphalina brevipes T.Bau & L.N.Liu,X.subsetilipes T.Bau & L.N.Liu and X.utricularis T.Bau & L.N.Liu are 7 new species.Roridomyces glutinosus(Corner)T.Bau & L.N.Liu is 1 new combination.Cruentomycena orientalis Har.Takah.& Taneyama,Favolaschia peziziformis(Berk.& M.A.Curtis)Kuntze,Hemimycena crispata(Kühner)Singer,H.cryptomeriae Noordel.& Antonín,H.delectabilis(Peck)Singer,H.gracilis(Quél.)Singer,H.ignobilis Joss.ex Bon,H.lactea(Pers.)Singer,H.mauretanica(Maire)Singer,H.nitriolens(Valla)Antonín & Noordel.,H.persimilis(Redhead)Antonín & Noordel.,H.pseudocrispata(Valla)Maas Geest.,H.pseudocrispula(Kühner)Singer,H.pseudolactea(Kühner)Singer,H.pulchra H.Lehmann,H.rickenii(A.H.Sm.)Singer,H.subimmaculata(Murrill)Elborne & L?ss?e,H.subtilis(Velen.)Antonín,H.subtropicalis Singer,Resinomycena mirabilis(Singer)Redhead & Nagas.,Roridomyces appendiculatus Rexer,R.lamprosporus(Corner)Rexer,R.mauritianus(Robich & Hauskn.)Hauskn.& Krisai,R.praeclarus(E.Horak)Rexer,Xeromphalina fraxinophila A.H.Sm.and X.kauffmanii A.H.Sm.are 26 species first recorded in China. What's more,Cruentomycena and Resinomycena are first reported in China.Particular descriptions of morphological characters, habitat photographs, line drawings and keys to species of each genus were provided for each taxon in these genera.Based on the names reported in the literature or listed in the herbaria,Hemimycena pithya(Pers.)D?rfelt was excluded from China. In allied genera analysis, two new species,Crinipellis bidens T.Bau and Gerronema indigoticum T.Bau & L.N.Liu,were found in Crinipellis and Gerronema. For phylogenetic studies,a four-gene dataset of ITS,LSU,RPB2 and TEF-1? were used and analyzed by methods of Maximum Likelihood and Bayesian, including 247 new sequences,66 sequences of Mycena obtained in our team's previous studies,7 sequences provided by the National Mycological Herbarium of Canada and 109 sequences downloaded from Genbank. The study shows that the tree can be divided into 14 clades;Sarcomyxa,Xeromphalina,Tectella,Favolaschia,Roridomyces,Panellus,Resinomycena and Cruentomycena are monophyly.Hemimycena with nonamyloid basidiospores divided into two major clades are on the outside in the phylogenetic tree, showing a distant relationship with genera with amyloid basidiospores in Mycenaceae.Mycena are divided into 4 major clades. It indicates that Hemimycena and Mycena are not monophyly. In addition, new species, new combination and new records to China are separated into individual lineages which are independent to close species obviously. In addition,Cruentomycena,Panellus,Resinomycena and Roridomyces are clustered in a big clade with high support value. In combination with morphological analysis, all the species of Resinomycena,Roridomyces and Panellus, which belong to Mycenaceae in phylogeny, have dichophysial or subcorallioid hyphae at Pileipellis or Stipitipellis. However,Cruentomycena do not show such features.
