Carbon Nanotube(CNT)has greatly broadened the knowledge of material science for its macroscopic one-dimensional and microscopic hollow structure.However,as the main character of macroscopic CNT materials,the optical properties of CNT film need to be fully explored.Moreover,cutting-edge topics including wideband behavior,application of alignment CNT in the film and the influence of external conditions are still challenging us.In the thesis,we researched the visible and infrared region transmission of macroscopic aligned CNT film,and explored the impact of CNT's intrinsic properties and macroscopic structures on them.We have results listed below:(1)In visible region from near-ultraviolet to near-infrared,we archieved the general rules how transmission changes via wavelength,and researched the influence of angle between CNT alignement and polarization direction.We found that in visible region,the transmission of CNT film grows as wavelength increases,with great difference under polarization angles.Combining Seebeck's effect,we developed the photoswitch and photodetector based on CNT film,which gain the advantage of wideband range and high embedability.It can be used to detect wavelength and logic device.(2)In infrared region from mid to far-infrared,we also try to control the transmission properties by coating for heating in addition to researching how transmission behaves.We found that in the infrared region,the change of transmission is relatively weak via wavelength,but comparatively strong via polarization angles.The “Peak-valley exchange” is also discovered as an evidence,which is possibly resulted from the periodic space in CNT film.By coating and heating,CNT film is applied in terahertz amplitude modulation,for controlling the electron and phonon behavior of CNT.It can be developed in the nondestructive testing and secure communication of terahertz.
