New lightweight structural materials are of great significance for the development of national defense technology and equipment.Titanium and its alloys have been widely used in aerospace,aviation,geology and other fields due to their excellent comprehensive properties,and have beenregarded as the focus of research for further development.However,in the face of the increasingly developed national defense technology and equipment requirements,the adaptability requirements of titanium and its alloys in complex and variable working environments have become more demanding.In view of the poor wear resistance and easy adhesion of titanium,this paper focuses on the surface structure design of titanium.By studying the tribological behaviors and mechanism of reinforced texturing titanium surface in the working environment,such as abrasives and seawater where traditional surface coatings and lubricating oils cannot work,it is expected that the research results can provide new ideas for the anti-wear and anti-friction design of titanium surface.In this paper,industrial pure titanium TA2 is selected as the research material.The laser surface texture(LST)is used to prepare the dimple on the surface.Some surface treatments have been used to form a composite anti-friction and anti-wear film on the dimple.Tribological behaviors of the composite surface were studied in wear particle and seawater.The conclusions and results obtained are as follows:(1)The friction and wear properties of dimple textured surface were studied under abrasive and seawater conditions.The result shows that the textured surface can obtain better anti-friction and anti-wear properties while the abrasive grain size is smaller than the dimple diameter,and the influence of dimple density on anti-friction and anti-wear properties is greater than other dimple parameters.In addition,the dimple textured surface is corroded by seawater and destroyed by the grinding pair,which rapidly wear out and weaken its anti-friction and anti-wear effects.(2)The friction and wear properties of nitrided textured surface were studied under abrasive and seawater conditions.The result shows that the dimple density of the nitrided textured surface has a greater influence on the anti-friction and anti-wear properties than other dimple parameters under abrasive conditions.While under seawater conditions,the anti-wear property of the nitrided textured surface is related to the total volume of dimples in the sliding direction.In this experiment,the larger the calculated total volume,the better the wear resistance.(3)The friction and wear properties of DLC combining textured surface were studied under abrasive and seawater conditions.The result shows that the damage of DLC combining textured surface starts from the dimple edges under abrasive conditions,so indicating that the larger the density of the dimple edges on the unit area,the worse the wear resistance of DLC combining textured titanium.While under seawater conditions,the DLC combining textured surface are worn away after reciprocating for 750 cycles.
