With the progress of society and the development of economy,the number of cars is increasing year by year.The problems of traffic congestion,traffic accidents and traffic environment pollution are becoming more and more serious.In-depth study of traffic flow stability theory is of great significance to analysis of traffic flow characteristics,analysis and control method of traffic jams,improves the safety of vehicle passage and increase of road traffic volume.It can deepen people's understanding of traffic system operation law from the point of view of science.In addition,with the continuous development of connected vehicle technology,the drivers can not only obtain the vehicle information of their own vehicles in real time,but also know the information of other vehicles on the road in real time with the help of connected vehicle technology.Therefore,combining the traditional traffic flow theory with the connected vehicle technology,the car-following model suitable for the connected vehicle environment is established under the connected vehicle environment,and it is of great significance to prevent and alleviate the road traffic congestion and to improve the safety and efficiency of road network.Based on the above analysis,this paper aiming at the problems in the stability analysis and control of traffic flow and taking the car-following model as the object of study,and combining the traditional traffic flow theory and applying the idea of synchronous control of complex network to the connected vehicle technology,a new control method is proposed on the basis of existing traffic flow theory and traffic congestion suppression methods.And under the environment of vehicle-to-vehicle communication,the stability and control problems of car-following model under different factors are systematically studied,and the causes of traffic congestion and the evolution mechanism of traffic congestion are fundamentally understood,so as to solve the problem of traffic congestion as far as possible.The main tasks are as follows:(1)Some related literatures at home and abroad are comprehensively analyzed and summarized,and the research achievements and research status of traffic flow stability and its control are analyzed.At the same time,the shortcomings existing in the study of traffic flow stability are pointed out at the same time.Based on this,the main contents of this paper are introduced.(2)The theory of car-following model,the research status and the basic knowledge of complex network are described in detail.The synchronization theory of BA scale-free network,complex network with time-delay and complex network with time-varying delay are analyzed.And the criteria of adaptive synchronization of networks are discussed in detail.(3)Under the connected vehicle environment,and aiming at the optimal velocity car-following model and the car-following model with considering the effect of front and rear vehicles.Based on the theory of complex network synchronization control,the suitable control strategies are proposed to make the models more stable.(4)Considering the driver's honk behavior and the influence of multi-front vehicle speed information during the driving process of the vehicle,the extended car-following model with multi-speed difference under honk environment and the extended car-following model with multi-speed difference and driver's characteristics under honk environment are presented.Based on the synchronous control theory of complex networks,the stability and control problems of the model are studied,and the effects of honk effect and driver's characteristics on the traffic flow stability under the influence of multi-front vehicle velocity information are discussed in depth.(5)Considering that the time lag between the handling of changes information of the front vehicle and the measures taken by drivers induced by external environmental and physiological factors,and based on the synchronization control theory of complex networks with time-delay,the stability and control problems of the car-following model with delayed response time are studied,and the influence of driver's time-delay on the stability of traffic flow is analyzed.In addition,considering that the driver not only depends on the space headway between the current vehicle and the front car to adjust the speed of the vehicle,but also will be affected by the rear vehicle when adjusting the speed of the current vehicle.Considering the influence of front and rear vehicles and the driver's delay time,an optimal velocity car-following model with the effect of front and rear vehicles and time-varying delay is proposed.And based on the synchronization control theory of complex network with time-varying delay,the stability of the model and its control problem are studied.(6)Aiming at the two-lane car-following model with lateral friction and two-lane car-following model with the effect of driver's characteristics,and based on the cluster synchronization theory for complex networks,the suitable controllers are designed to stabilize the two-lane car-following model.Besides,based on the adaptive H_?cluster synchronization theory for complex networks with external disturbances,the stability of two-lane car-following model are studied when the vehicles is subjected to random external disturbance.The effects of different drivers'personality characteristics on the stability of two-lane car-following model are analyzed in detail.On the basis of summing up the latest research results of traffic flow stability,this paper analyzes the problems and shortcomings existing in the research of traffic flow stability and its control,and explores and puts forward the traffic flow stability control theory based on the idea of synchronous control of complex network in connected vehicle environment,which provides a certain theoretical basis for the application of vehicle networking technology in the field of traffic flow stability.The research results of this paper can promote people's understanding of the formation process of traffic congestion and the influence of driver's honk behavior,time delay and driver's own characteristics on traffic flow stability,and enrich the research results of traffic flow stability.The control algorithm designed in this paper can provide certain theoretical guidance for the design of intelligent driving system,and the conclusions can provide theoretical basis for preventing and controlling traffic congestion.
