Background:It is generally believed that the more things are studied from a micro perspective,the more accurate the results will be.This is because we can have a more detailed understanding of the internal structure of things.However,if we look in the opposite direction,the macroscopic features of things are the external functional features formed by the integration of their internal structures.By removing the longitudinal dimension of the Fibonacci spiral,we get a golden section structure in one-dimensional straight line,which is named as the "multiple golden section curve".We found that this cur've was reflected in many aspects of the external macroscopic functional characteristics of the limbs.Methods:First,we proposed and established the mathematical model of"multiple golden section curve".Secondly,we compare the multiple golden section curves with the temporal and spatial characteristics of limb function The subjects of our study(including healthy adult male and female(non-pregnant)subjects aged 20-40 years old)mainly include six parts:1.upper limb functional area(n=30);2.functional zoning of lower limbs(n=30);3.trunk partition(n=32);4.standing phase of gait cycle(n=41);5.swing phase of gait cycle(n=41);6.total gait circle(n=41).Statistical methods:we conducted statistical analysis from two perspectives.Firstly,T test was applied to compare the difference between the specific node of the measured object and the corresponding node of the multiple golden section curve.Then we fitted the data of all nodes of each measurement object to a linear function curve(linear regression),and conpared it with the mathematical function of multiple golden section curves(exponential function was reduced to a linear function with logarithm order),to determine whether there was a significant difference between them We used bootstrapy method to sample the fitting curve for 1000 times and get 95%confidence interval of curve coefficient,so as to judge whether the theoretical coefficient value of multiple golden section curve(lna=1n0.618=-0.481)is in this confidence interval and whetther there is a significant difference between themResult:In the comparison of the nodes of functional zoning of upper limbs of healthy adults with multiple golden section curve,1/5 nodes were significantly different,and the curve was consistent with multiple golden section curve.In the comparison of nodes in functional zoning of lower limbs of healthy adults with multiple golden section curve,1/5 nodes were significantly different,and the curve was consistent with multiple golden section curve.In the comparison of trunk zone nodes of healthy adults with multiple golden section curve,2/5 nodes were significantly different,and the curve was consistent with multiple golden section curve.In the comparison of standing phase nodes of healthy adults with multiple golden section curve,3/7 nodes were significantly different,and the curve was consistent with multiple golden section curve.In the comparison of swing phase nodes of healthy adults with multiple golden section curve,1/5 nodes were significantly different,and the curve was consistent with multiple golden section curve.In the coimparison of the whole gait circle nodes of healthy adults with multiple golden section curve,3/11 nodes were significantly different,and the curve was consistent with multiple golden section curve.Conclusion:We found and first proposed the mathematical model of multiple golden section curves.This curve model exists widely in the macroscopic functional characteristics of limbs.It reflects the functional characteristics of the limb"carrying load".This is the fundamental reason for the balance of binary opposites between"load"and"load bearing or elimination".Because of this,the multiple golden section curves have the one-dimensional linear structure.With the increasement of participation factors,the complexity system is extending correspondingly and its division levels is becoming much more complexer than before.Meanwhile,the fit degree between the system and the"multiple golden section curve”is improving either.This functional feature of"carrying load"is not only the most significant external macro feature of limbs' function,but also the internal reason why they all conform to the multiple golden section curve.
