A Textual Research On Koguryo's AnnShi City And Jian'an City In Liaodong Region

The battle of Ann Shi makes Koguryo's AnnShi city in Liaodong region become famous,this battle was fully recorded in detail in the Book of Tang,the New Book of Tang and the History as a Mirror.Especially many details of this battle are expanded in the History as a Mirrror,which gives us a lively description of the story.The situation of the battle at that time,the confrontation between Tang dynasty and Koguryo,mutually strategies and choice of action,internal divergence and argue,emperor's anger and regret.All these records show the people a vivid and fluent historical romance to let people imagine over the battlefield occurred in Koguryo's AnnShi city in Liaodong region filled with smoke thousand years ago through words.Beside that the personal expedition of Emperor Taizong Li Shimin has brought big bang strong and powerful impact to AnnShi city.So far there are several academic perspectives about the textual research on Ann Shi city and most of the perspectives are relatively independent,therefore the geographical location of AnnShi city has not identified yet.The original idea of this paper is from the academic perspectives of AnnShi city' s geographical location.The renew textual research on AnnShi city can not noly identify the specific location of Koguryo's AnnShi city in Liaodong region but can also provide new ideas and references to other textual research on Koguryo's mountain fortress.Jian'an city often occurs together with AnnShi city,therefore after the textual research on AnnShi city,the geographical location of Jian'an city can accordingly be addressed.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is introduction,which includes the purpose and significance of this research,the research overview and achievement of Koguryo's mountain fortresses at home and aboard,research methods and innovation points.The first chapter is coming down to the introduction of the concept and the range of“LiaoDong region ",geographical conditions and distribution of Kogoryo' s mountain fortresses.Because of Ann Shi city and Jian'an city are not existed alone,they are two among the numerous Kogoryo ' s mountain fortresses in Liaodong region.If we want to identify the location of AnnShi city and Jian'an city,we have to understand the meaning of "Liaodong" and mountain fortress arrangement in Liaodong region.In the second chapter I select twelve representative fortresses as main study objects in order to prove how Kogoryo controls the Liaodong region,which is precisely because this particular mountain fortress system.Due to this system Kogoryo was magnificently situated in Lidong over 200 years.Moreover,AnnShi city and Jian'an city are two of the most important mountain fortresses founded by Kogoryo.In the course of textual research we have to place the two cities into the mountain fortress system to ensure this research is more persuasive.The third chapter is the new textual research on the Koguryo's AnnShi City in Liaodong Region.The forth chapter is the new textual research on the Koguryo's Jian'an City in Liaodong Region.The last chapter is the conclusion.
