| The indirect negation-type solid answer is a kind of speech act activity in modern Chinese, which refers to the general negation, opposition, disapproval, etc.of the opinions and attitudes expressed in the discourse content of the other party in the process of communication. The in-depth study of the actual use of this language has positive implications for advancing the development of linguistic theories and guiding people’s actual verbal communication. The article discusses from seven aspects, and the basic viewpoints are as follows:The first chapter is the introduction. This article mainly explains the research object and the significance of the topic. It summarizes the research status of indirect negation at home and abroad. It introduces the theory and method used in the thesis, the source of corpus, innovation and possible problems and defines the scope of the study. It ensures the scope and meaning of study. The second chapter summarizes the indirect negation-type solid answer in modem Chinese. It discusses the types, pragmatic functions, and evolutionary motivations of indirect negation-type solid answer. In terms of type, there are(1)termination,(2)rejection,(3)retort,and(4)deafness.The indirect negation-type solid answer in modem Chinese has many pragmatic functions such as "providing correct information, making evaluations, indicating results, presenting arguments, explaining prerequisite conditions, emphasizing degree, and supplementing sources of information".Looking at the direction of evolution, the sources of indirect negation-type solid responses in modern Chinese are different, and some have evolved from anti-questioning to indirect definition. Some semantics with less formality have been defined indirectly, and others have been solidified from the implicit meaning of conversation. The third chapter discusses the types of structure of the indirect negation-type solid answer in modern Chinese and its motivation and understanding mechanism. In terms of structure type, there are mainly word or phrase structures, clause structures, solidification structures, and discourse markers. The degree of internal blurring is not the same. The main mechanism of the formation of indirect negation-like solidified response language in modern Chinese is mainly contextual absorption, pragmatic reasoning and grammaticalization. The grammaticalization process is also accompanied by lexicalization, subjectification and tokenization. The forth chapter, taking the example of "X ni ge tou" as an example, discusses the nature of the component "X" in this construction is discussed. In terms of discourse distribution,"X ni ge tou" always acts as a follow-up component and cannot appear as an initial sentence. That is,it cannot appear in the place where the discourse began. Before it there must be a preceding sentence. The negative meaning expressed by "X ni ge tou" is to refute or deny the content of the speech of the previous speaker. But this negative meaning is not in the meaning of the true value of the proposition,it is a pragmatic denying, which is the subjective negation to An inappropriate subjective negation of one aspect of discourse content of the former speaker. It has a strong subjectivity, and the pragmatic reasoning is the foundation for the pragmatic nonessential definition. The fifth Chapter, taking "zai shuo,as an example, tries to use the grammaticalization research results to guide the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language."Zai shuo" is derived from the phrase "zai shuo",because the phrase "zai shuo" has different syntactical positions in the sentence, resulting in two uses of the auxiliaries and conjunctions, respectively, which means that the phrase at the beginning of the sentence " zai shuo"curing becomes a conjunction, and the phrase"zai shuo" at the end of the sentence solidifies as a particle. The sixth chapter takes the example of "qi gan",from the four perspectives of syntactic distribution and choice restriction, negation nature and expression function, the grammaticalization and mechanism of "qi gan" and the comparison with "bu gan".As far as the negative nature and the expression function are concerned,"bu gan" is mainly reflected in the negation of pragmatics, the negation of reinforcement, and the subjective negation. In terms of expression function,"qi gan" has the role of image protection. The grammaticalization of "bu gan" has gone through three processes:phrase-to-lexicalization,subjectification and tokenization. Its difference from "bu gan" is manifested in four aspects:dissimilar nature of negation, different negative intensity, subjective modality differences, and stylistic distribution differentiation. The seventh chapter takes "shen me X" as an example."Shen me X" format can be used to indicate both a queried response and a negative quoting response. The article discusses the form of a negative quoted response form "shen me X2".This format can use the three methods of direct quote, interception, and conversion to quote the words of the previous speaker. When it expresses a negative quoted response,it quotes a wide range of sources of information, which can be either the speaker himself or the receiver,or it can be a non-live social concept, popular discourse,or a silent language. The eighth chapter is an epilogue.Summarize the full text and point out the shortcomings and defects of this study. |
