The Study Of Manjusri Thought In The Mahayana Classics In The Early Chinese Translation

Manjusri is one of the most important Bodhisattva in the Buddhism.The thought of Manjusri reflects the importance of Mahayana.As Buddhism was introduced to China from India,Manjusri-related classics were translated in large numbers,especially in the early Mahayana Buddhism.The proportion of Manjusri classics was very high,especially in terms of thought.The Manjusri faith has gradually developed and become one of the four great Bodhisattvas in China.The study of Manjusri is not only the focus of Buddhist studies,but also an important way to understand the Chineseization of Buddhism,especially an important part of understanding the history of Chinese Buddhism.Research on Manjusri is extensive nowadays,involving many fields such as philosophy,religion,culture and art.The research results are gradually enriched.However,the basis of Manjusri,s belief stems from the original classics of Buddhism.It has important value for the meticulous study of Manjusri in the classic literature.In the resear-ch results of the predecessors,this paper tries to establish a basic material for the study of Manjusri,and presents the thought of Manjusri.This article discusses from four aspects.First of all,to sort out and classify all the teachings and texts related to Manjusri in "Taisho-pitaka",from the perspective of the degree of correlation with Manjusri,the traits of the law,and the evolution of the thoughts of Manjusri.Divided into four categories.From the perspectives of translation time,stylistic style,attitude towards the traditional Buddhist,description of the status of the status of the Manjusri,and the characteristics of the ideology,the timeline for the establishment of the Manjusri classics is outlined.At the same time,according to the classical and metaphorical legends in the classics,we discusses the origin,role and status of Manjusri.Second,from the perspective of Buddhism theory,comprehensively analyze the characteristics of the thoughts of Manjusri.In contrast to the Prajna thoughts before Manjusri and after,the traits of the other great Mahayana thoughts in the Manjusri classics,such as the deep Prajna,the triumph of the righteousness,the legal world,and the nature mind which are different.In addition,it summarizes the proposal and evolution of a line of three-dimensional thoughts,and the theoretical connotation of the first stern.Finally,summarizing the relationship between the Prajna and the convenience in the thoughts of Manjusri,reflecting the different emphasis on the two thoughts in different periods.Try to explain the relationship between the Dharma Realm and Buddha-nature,the relationship between Luminous mind and the pure mind.Third,according to the style of Manjusri's speaking and acting in the classics,it shows the Manjusri method.Exploring the dilemmas that Manjusri thought may encounter in the process of communication.On the other hand,it systematically embodys the unconventional behavioral characteristics of Manjusri,combines it with the line of teaching that who practice at home,and discusses several important changes in the evolution of the thoughts of Manjusri.It also makes a distinction between the early and the late similarities and differences between Manjusri's thoughts.Manjusri's Bodhisattva thought was very characteristic during the early Mahayana period,and it opposed self-interestism.Pay attention to practicing in reality.Compared with the Mahayana thought in the same period,Manjusri has more practical value.The Manjushri method emphasizes "not distinguish".It is a life of insight into the practice of the world,saving all life.Manjusri research has important value for the study of the origin of Mahayana Buddhism,especially the existence of independent sects centered on Manjusri,which can show the prevalence of Mahayana Buddhism.Especially in the absence of historical materials,the analysis of thoughts has special value.Finally,combining the characteristics of Manjusri theory and practice,it discusses the advantages of Manjusri teaching method.Combining with the current Buddhist movement in the world,it discusses the positive value of Manjusri's spirit.
