Qu Qiubai's Theoretical Contribution In The Sinofication Of Marxism In China

Qu Qiubai(1899-1935),one of the early key leaders of the Communist Party in China,is a great Marxist,an outstanding proletarian revolutionary,a theorist,a propagator,and a significant founder of Chinese revolutionary literary.He left behind for posterity a precious legacy of more than 5 million words,making an indelible contribution to the dissemination,the application and the development of Marxism in China.This paper will explore Qu Qiubai 's theoretical contribution in the dissemination and application of Marxism in China from 7 aspects.The paper can be divided into 3 parts:the introduction,the main body which consists of 5 chapters,and the concluding section.Chapter one,the introduction mainly deals with the significance of this topic and the ideas of research,reviews on the current situation of this topic,and methods adopted which,by and large,adhere to the principle of the unity of history and logic,making sure that theories come from history and history is combined with theories.The dissemination of Marxism is the foundation,the Sinofication of Marxism is the result.Chapter two centers on how Qu Qiubai's worldview took shape.Qu Qiubai,who came from a disadvantaged family,during the process of his unceasing and earnest quest for the way forward and his autoptical experience in Soviet Union,underwent a prodigious change in his worldview and rose to a steadfast Marxist fighters.Chapter three discusses on Qu Qiubai's promulgation and presentation of the theories and achievements in Soviet socialist construction.He systematically reported through newspapers the achievements,theories and experience of the Soviet Socialist construction.Chapter four is about Qu Qiubai 's promulgation of Marxist philosophy.In dialectical materialism,what are espoused by him mainly include:philosophy pandect of dialectical materialism,world united by substance,basic features and main laws of dialectics,and materialist epistemology.In historical materialism,the important areas and theories espoused by him mainly include:argumentation over the theory of motivation on productivity,the theory of social structure,nation and revolution,the theory of social awareness,social civilization and revolution,and the theory of historical law and historical tool.Chapter five talks about Qu Qiubai's theoretical contribution to the Marxism sinicization(Part One).He made a significant contribution to the identification of China's national conditions and the nature of Chinese revolution,pointing out that modem China was a semi-colonial and semi-feudal country,and expounding on the fundamental issues in the New Democratic Revolution including its object,its leading class,its driving force,and its nature and future.Chapter six analyses Qu Qiubai's theoretical contribution to the Marxism sinicization(Part Two).During his quest for the New Democratic Revolution,he put forward many important ideas,such as the social elements of radical Agrarian Revolution,establishment of the revolutionary farmers'regime.Besides,he also made a prominent contribution to the development and improvement of the theory of revolutionary united battlefront and the theory of party construction.The conclusory section sets forth Qu Qiubai's theoretical contributions to the dissemination and localization of Marxism in China as well as the illuminating effects of his studies,through which we can draw on history and apply the experience to our national cause of rejuvenating the Chinese nation and realizing the Chinese Dream and socialism with Chinese characteristics.
