Background:The relationship between Africa and China grow increasingly stronger.Thus,China is currently the largest African trading partner.The Republic of Mali is a landlocked country in West Africa bordered by Algeria to the north,Niger on the east,Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast,south,Guinea southwest,Senegal and Mauritania to the west.The capital is Bamako.China has established various relationships with the Republic of Mali since October 25,1960.Ever since then,both countries have experienced a harmonious development.Objectives:The main objectives of this study are to assess first whether there is a significant relationship between leadership styles and organizations conflict management styles in Mali.The second objective is to compare the Malian and Chinese leadership styles in organization conflicts management.Method:A total of(742)managers of this study included Malian and Chinese.Malian managers were N=(441),and Chinese managers(N=203).All Chinese participants in this study were either working for them even/or in collaboration with other companies.Malian participants were working either in government,or in business or private sectors.The total sample consisted of 529 men(71.3%)and 213 women(28.7%).Most age groups were 20-25(4.3%)and 0.9%were older than 50 at the time of the study(mean=3.643,SD=1.22).In this study,72.1%had a level of master's,only 0.5%had a doctorate(Mean=2.206,SD=0.50).Two methods were used(quantitative and qualitative).The Thomas-Kilmann Conflict(Mode)Instrument and Multi-factor leadership questionnaire,5X-Short Form(MLQ5X)was used to collect data To assess and to analyze the assumptions of this study,the researcher conducted an extensive investigation based on Likert five points.For data analysis,the researcher used SPSS(22.00).Results:parametric test found that participants are more transformational leaders than transactional leaders and of laissez-faire.The results of correlation analysis also found that the independent variables are positively correlated with the dependent variables.In addition,an independent t test sample was conducted to highlight the differences between the two groups of nationalities.The results of this analysis showed a significant effect between the two groups.The Chinese use a transformative leadership more and are more accommodating to manage conflicts in the organization that Malians.Malians are transformational leaders but use mediation or compromise style for managing organizational conflict.Finally,the researcher made a nationality moderator analysis.This analysis of the moderator is used to determine whether the relationship between two variables depend on the value of a third variable.In this model,the transformational leadership style is a preacher,Nationality as moderator,and accommodating style as outcome variable.Conclusion:This study could make a modest contribution to the search for better understanding of leadership styles and organization conflict management styles.Implications for leadership styles utilities in conflicts situations and for practice are presented.Recommendations for practice and future research are also discussed.
