Research On The Development Of Track And Field Excellent Events In Bangladesh Athletics

Since the independence of bangladesh in 1971,there is a big gap between the speed of economic development and developd countries,in the sports industry,science and medicine are limited,inperfect sports system,athlete training system is weak,and increasinly fierce competition in the international field.Therefore,this paper focuses on the developmental characteristics of Bangladesh Track and Field excellent events after the independence of Bangladesh by means of literature review,expert interviews,questionnaire survey,case study analysis,mathematical statistics and systematic analysis,and analyzes the influential factors of Bangladesh Track and Field advantages.This is to summarize the development of Track and Field excellent events in Bangladesh athletics.Through the research on the mechanism of the different influential factors on the advantages of Bangladesh Athletics,it puts forward the suggestion of promoting the development of athletics in Bangladesh and also provides reference for further research in future and provides a reference for the formulation of development plan by Bangladesh Athletics Federation and other related organizations,in order to increase the level of track and field in Bangladesh's and will raise the position of Bangladesh in the area of world track and field.Concluded as follows:1.The structure of the sports system in Bangladesh is not consolidated.The task of functional departments is relatively simple,Coverage aspects are very small,and this is consistent with the level of sports in Bangladesh.When competitive sports,mass sports,school sports,etc.are gradually being improved,they will increasingly expose the defects that appear in the sports system.Bangladesh needs to consider other countries' sports management systems while considering current conditions.2.Bangladesh athletics achievements and records in the Track and Field of South Asian Games is getting deteriorated.In the international competition,the competitiveness is getting bad to worse and the ranking is also continuously going down.However,some events still have the ability to achieve the gold medal.3.Men's 100 m,200m,400 m,4x100m Relay,4x400 m Relay,110 m Hurdle,Long Jump and Triple Jump,Women's 100 m,200m,400 m,4x100m Relay,4x100 m Relay,100 m Hurdle and Long Jump-these are the advantage competitive track and field excellent events in Bangladesh Athletics.4.In recent ten years,the competitive track and field excellent events in Bangladesh have generally been in a state of slow growth or the performances have been declining.Few excellent events have shown a steady and sustaining growth.The performances of women's track and field events significantly lower than those of men achievements.5.Six factors at three levels constitute the influencing factors system that influences the competitive track and field events in Bangladesh.Social factors include competitive track and field popularity,economic investment,media and market development,training level with scientific research development and project planning,personnel level including selection of athletes and retiring positions,personal qualities of coaches.6.Athletics in Bangladesh is potential.Bangladesh wants to develop much more in athletics.There are many problems that,need to be solved.The primary problem to be solved is the athletics coach's team in the country.Second,the system of athlete training needs to change and increase the popularity of track and field.The third is to increase the track and field sports competition and to provide more opportunities for track and field athletes.
