Research On The Cultivation Path Of Contemporary College Students' Friendly Character

The reports of 19~thh National Congress of the Communist Party of China has affirmed the leading role of core values of socialism,which guides the public with respect to the national education and the construction of spiritual civilization.The core value of socialism,with twenty four characters,embraces requirements of three dimensions:Prosperity,democracy,civilization and harmony are ones for the nation;Freedom,equality,justice,and the rule of law are ones for the society;Patriotism,dedication,integrity,and friendship are ones for each of civilians.Among them,friendship is the basis of the core value and the moral requirement.As the constructors and successors of socialist cause,the contemporary college students are the future and hope of a country.With the extension of economical globalization and culture diversification,their value orientation and moral conception present multiple trends.Influenced by pragmatism,hedonism,and extreme egoism,etc.,the interpersonal relationship becomes tense and indifferent.So it has to be paid high attention to how to exert the leading role of core values of socialism and cultivate the noble qualities of friendship.Friendship is a moral code of the society.It is also a noble quality of an individual.In other words,friendship not only takes on the ethical requirement,but also an excellent character formed by self-cultivation.Equally,since friendship is a necessary moral character the college students have,cultivating it among the students is very critical in reality for the political education work.In fact,the cultivation of students'friendship character can develop the comprehensive qualities of individuals,establish a harmonious and beautiful school,enhance the level of higher education,fulfill the core value of socialism,and solve the thorny problems such as the moral abnormality and lack of credibility.The thesis analyzes the achievements of friendship cultivation and the existing problems on the basis of questionnaire survey and dialectic analysis.It also clarifies the causes of problems which still exist in the course of moral cultivation,including the lack of self-cultivation,defection of family education,deficiency of school education and the blight of social environment.Then,the approaches of cultivating friendship qualities of the contemporary college students lie in school education,self-cultivation,and ethical practice.Among them,school education is the external environment,self-cultivation is the internal factor,and moral practice is the basis combined the former two elements together.Above all,from the aspect of school education,It is crucial to exert the teaching function of Ideological and Political courses as a main channel and the all-round education function of it,as well as to improve the faculties'qualities,to establish the friendship concept,to reform the teaching contents,to blend in the traditional virtue education,to create new classroom teaching methods,to strengthen the combination of theoretical and moral practices,to play a role in examples,to build a benign environment of advocating ethics,and realize the all-round cultivation.School education should offer a qualified,healthy,and harmonious external objective environment to the students,which is significant to the formation and improvement of friendship character.Besides,from the self-cultivation aspect,by means of learning and thinking,self-introspecting,doing benefactions,and self-controlling and so on,the kind moral requirement would be internalized into the internal self-consciousness,thus enhancing the students'moral self-discipline.At the same time,from the moral practice,by experiencing in moral practice,voluntary service practice,and the second class activities,the students can be cultivated to help others,improve the spirit of devotion,build up the sense of responsibility,promote the team spirit,realize the kindness from heart,speech and action,and become a modern person with talents and virtue,who is responsible for the national reviving,stressing on knowledge and practice.
