| The high parallelism of light in time and space makes the optical computing method become the development direction of more researchers in the field of new computer research.With the advent of ternary optical computer prototype system SD16,this new type of computer has become an outstanding one in this research field.Ternary optical computer has many features: a large number of processor bits,allocability of each processor bit and bitwise reconfigurability.This makes TOC own more advantages over traditional computer systems in solving complex computing problems that require more resources and computations.With the gradual improvement of the hardware of ternary optical computer,the research on its programming environment and application software is increasing.From the principles of computer science,people have already known that the task management software of the processor is one of the core technologies of its programming environment,and it is also the necessary foundation for the preparation of efficient applications programs.Therefore,the research on the theory and technology of task management software for ternary optical computer has become one of the important forward directions in this field.As the first monograph in this research direction,the author establishes a research object with the most basic application scenarios of ternary optical computer.It called as a big task which contains bulk calculations data.In the background of ternary optical processor prototype system SD16,the author discusses in detail the basic theory and strategy of a big task management software of ternary optical computer,and the core technology and implementation methods including in the related software.The author began to study the big task management software of ternary optical computer from 2013,and made substantial progress on the basis of the pre-research of the team.The paper proposes the principle of monopolizing the optical processor for a big task.Under this principle,the operation object of the management software for big task is established.The underlying theory and core technology of the overall structure of the management software,the management strategy and the process of the management software for big task are built.In the research process,the author applied the theoretical results obtained in time to realize a prototype of task management software for ternary optical computer,and carried out the experimental test on the SD16 system.The test results show that the software has reached the designed aims.The innovations in this paper are described as follows.1.The principle of monopolizing the optical processor for big tasks is proposed,and the operation object of ternary optical computer management software for big task is established.2.The underlying theory,key techniques and overall framework of ternary optical computer management software for big task are established.3.A management software for big task is developed,the software is suitable for the current needs and basic functions of ternary optical computer. |
