With the rapid development of mobile communication technology,the situation of simultaneous use of the fourth and fifth generation mobile communication technology is in the works.As a result,antennas of mobile phone and base station in mobile communication have been put forward new technical requirement,to realize multi-band operation in space limited environment.Based on the basic theory of antenna design,this dissertation explores technologies of miniaturization and multi-band design of mobile phone antenna,and then several miniaturization and multi-band mobile phone antennas are designed.At the same time,according to the requirement of mobile communication,two kinds of broadband dual-polarized base station antennas are proposed.The measured results show that the size of these antennas is reduced and the performance is improved.The specific works of this dissertation are described as follows:(1)In the field of miniaturized design of mobile phone antenna,a compact coupled low-profile miniaturized hendeca-band mobile phone antenna is proposed firstly in this dissertation.Various modes are stimulated based on cascade loading and lumping component loading.The most prominent of this antenna is miniaturization and its size is only 37mm×7.2mm.And then,coplanar parasitic loading technology is adopted to design a broadband miniaturized print antenna for 4G/5G/WLAN in order to further broaden the working bandwidth which can cover 5G frequency band.The size of this antenna is only 27mmx 10.8mm.(2)In the field of design of all metal shell mobile phone antenna,a multi-band 4G/5G mobile phone antenna is designed by using partial metal shell,which can effectively reduce the interference of built-in circuit.By means of slot technology and multi-branch technology,multiple modes are excited to realize the design of multi-band broadband antenna.(3)In the field of MIMO antenna design,a hybrid MIMO antenna array is proposed.This array antenna consists of two 4G antenna elements and six 5G antenna elements,two antenna elements realize LTE/WWAN multi-band communication through frequency reconfigurable technology,and six antenna elements realize dual-band communication for 5G.(4)Aiming for the broadband dual-polarization design of base station antenna,a kind of base station antenna with single-frequency broadband dual-polarization used for 5G is proposed.The isolation degree of antenna port is improved effectively by constructing L-type antenna unit structure.Then,in order to expand the band of the antenna,a design scheme of dual-frequency broadband dual-polarization base station antenna is proposed based on a layered structure design scheme.This antenna has dual frequency,miniaturized and dual-polarization characteristic.
