| Supply chain has become the core of modern enterprise competition, and the competition among enterprises has gradually evolved into competition between supply chains. With the specialization of supply chain nodes and the globalization of distribution, supply chain managers are increasingly focusing on lean management. At the same time, there are many uncertainties inside and outside the supply chain, coupled with natural disasters and other emergencies.Frequently, corporate supply chains are becoming more and more vulnerable and face enormous risks of supply disruptions.Suspension of the supply chain caused huge losses to the company. In this context, the concept of resilience of the supply chain arises at the historic moment. The elasticity of the supply chain means that when the supply chain of an enterprise is deformed or even interrupted due to unexpected events, the enterprise adopts specific measures to adjust, combine, and reconstruct the supply chain.A property that allows it to return to normal working conditions, with the intensification of environmental uncertainty, the supply chain flexibility is increasingly important for the practical significance of the company. The majority of research on the traditional supply chain resilience is concentrated in the field of system engineering. The existing literature basically analyzes the supply chain resilience from the perspective of system optimization. This puts the supply chain resilience problem at the system design level only. The room for improvement in chain resilience will become very limited. This study proposes to revisit the supply chain resilience from the perspective of dynamic capabilities.Dynamic capability mainly refers to the ability of an enterprise to integrate, create, and restructure internal and external resources so as to continuously seek and use opportunities in a changing external environment. The supply chain resilience is precisely due to the uncertainty of the internal and external environment in the supply chain.Deformation is even broken, and there is a high degree of echoing between the two.The dynamic capability theory can well explain the resilience of supply chain. The paper is mainly divided into seven parts. The first part is the introduction, which mainly introduces the background of the topic, the research significance and purpose, the research content and methods, and the main innovation points. The second part is the theoretical foundation and literature review. It mainly sorts out the existing literature from the three aspects of the connotation, strategy, and research perspective of the resilience of the supply chain, and clarifies the relationship between the theoretical development context and the concept. In the third part,we discussed the connotation of supply chain resilience from the perspective of dynamic capabilities theory.Through literature review,we found that recovery capacity, absorptive capacity, adaptability, flexibility, agility, dynamic logistics, information sharing,redundancy,pre-embedded,members Quantity, product variety, outsourcing quantity, complexity, coordination ability, innovation ability, disconnection ability, partnership, control ability, forecasting ability, decentralization ability, learning ability, and financial advantage all affect the flexibility of the company’s supply chain.Based on the analysis of sexual factors,we further found five influencing factors behind these 22 influencing factors. We have summarized them as supply chain reconfiguration capabilities, supply chain risk control capabilities, supply chain response capabilities, supply chain collaboration capabilities, and supply chains. In the fourth part,we analyze the internal structure of the above five influencing factors based on the China-Zero normal fuzzy ISM.The results show that the five impact factors and the resilience of the supply chain have an intrinsic hierarchical structure and can be divided into three levels.Among them, the diversity of supply chain resources is the base layer, the supply chain reconfiguration capability, supply chain risk control capability, supply chain response capability, supply chain collaboration capability are dynamic capability layers, and supply chain flexibility is the target layer, and effective diversity of resources supports the formation of dynamic capabilities to ensure the flexibility of the company’s supply chain. In the fifth part,we further explored the relationship between dynamic capabilities, supply chain flexibility and corporate performance, and introduced environmental uncertainties as regulatory variables.Through theoretical analysis and empirical tests,we found that supply chain reconfiguration capabilities and supply chain risk control Capabilities, supply chain response capabilities, and supply chain collaboration capabilities affect corporate performance by affecting supply chain flexibility.Supply chain resilience plays a role in mediation, and environmental uncertainty significantly regulates the relationship between supply chain flexibility and corporate performance. In a high-uncertainty environment, the supply chain resilience is more significant for the improvement of corporate performance. The sixth part combines the construction plan of SK’s flexible supply chain, and we propose some specific strategies for companies to improve the supply chain resilience. For example, enterprises should pre-embed some elastic functions in the supply chain structure design, and ensure there is certain verbosity within the organization, such as appropriate inventory, alternative suppliers,so that enterprises can timely allocate resources in the event of risk events;in the course of supply chain operations, the company must fully implement risk management,real-time monitoring of possible risk points and do a good job of risk plan;promote the construction of enterprise information, use modern technology means to reduce the time, path and bias of information transmission;attach importance to organizational change, promote the flat development of the organizational structure, maintain the flexibility and agility of the organization, and improve the organization’s response capabilities;cooperation, communication and knowledge exchange with other companies in the supply chain, and the establishment of a trust relationship in the supply chain to ensure that the risk events can be collaboratively solved with supply chain partners. Finally,we summarize the conclusions of the study and present the deficiencies of this study as well as further perspectives on future research directions. In terms of theoretical contributions, this paper introduces the theory of dynamic capabilities in the field of strategic management into supply chain research.Through this study,it hopes to attract more scholars in the field of strategic management to focus on supply chain issues to achieve cross-convergence of research. In terms of management inspiration, this paper proposes that supply chain resiliency is not only a mechanism design, but also a manifestation of capabilities. The size of supply chain resiliency is affected by supply chain risk control, response, collaboration, and reconstruction capabilities. The diversity of resources has effectively supported these capabilities. Therefore,to improve the flexibility of the supply chain,we must make improvements in the above aspects, such as companies in the supply chain structure design should be pre-embedded some elastic functions to maintain proper redundancy,at the same time also on the pre-embedded resilience so that the cost is weighed against the probability and possible impact of the risk event. In the supply chain operation process, the company must implement risk management in an all-round way,all employees participate in risk management, real time monitoring of possible risk points and risk pre-planning.Emphasizing organizational change, maintaining organizational flexibility and agility, enhancing supply chain responsiveness by compressing supply chain response time, improving supply chain visibility, and strengthening contractual cooperation, communication, and knowledge exchange with other companies in the supply chain. It also attaches great importance to the establishment of a trust relationship in the supply chain and ensures that it cooperates with supply chain partners to solve problems when a risk event occurs. |
