Learning has been identified as a hallmark strategy in response to the hypercompetitive and global environment. To answer this challenge, many learning models have been developed to recognize learning that occurs between the individual and the organization with outcomes supporting and spanning the entire organization. One traditional organization and one virtual organization, both operating as learning organizations, were researched to identify whether differences exist between the dimensions of the learning organization strategy using the Dimensions of the Learning Organization Questionnaire (DLOQ) across constructs of: learning environment, learning process, and leadership reinforcement. The intent of this research is to supplement the body of knowledge regarding learning organizations and to provide practitioners with relevant and meaningful empirical evidence to support future decision processes. |
