Abstract/Summary:
An expansion of distance learning programs is the basis of this research study. As distance learning has become more popular in institutions of higher learning, it is imperative to explore the thoughts and views of faculty and how they perceive this model of instruction. Faculty thoughts and opinions are critical in this environment as they are the major driving force of the institution. This study explored the perceptions of faculty in the state of Texas regarding the quality and effectiveness of distance learning programs through the use of a modified version of the Organizational Culture Profile Survey.
