Abstract/Summary:
The exploratory mixed methods study explored the perceptions about the use of e-technology and the interactions and expectations of human resource (HR) professionals. The investigation focused on the HR professionals' perceptions about the use of e-technology in human resources functions. Membership in a U.S.-based professional human resource society provided the target population. The results of the study reflected a positive influence between e-technology and enhancements to the HR professionals' perceptions in performing the profession's requirements. The findings provide a baseline for future studies.
